The treadmill includes a frame; a first side support coupled to and extending substantially vertically upwards relative to the frame; a second side support coupled to and extending substantially vertically upwards relative to the frame; and a handrail assembly having a first side coupled to the first side support and a second side coupled to the second side support, each of the first and second sides of the handrail assembly comprising upper and lower members vertically spaced from one another and front and rear push members spaced apart from one another along a longitudinal length of the treadmill, the front and rear push members coupling the upper and lower members, and collectively providing a plurality of hand placement positions including at least two substantially horizontally aligned hand placement positions and at least one primarily vertically aligned hand placement position.

Handrail configuration for a treadmill

A treadmill includes a frame and a running belt coupled to the frame. The running belt is configured to rotate relative to the frame. The treadmill includes at least one sensor configured to collect information regarding a rotation of the running belt and a use of the treadmill by a user of the treadmill. The treadmill also includes a light source coupled to the frame and configured to emit a light at least partly away from a front of the treadmill to at least partly illuminate a rear of the treadmill.

This is a measuring tool for use in the installation of metal roofing when such metal roofing must be cut in order to fit along valleys in the roof structure. Valleys are places where the roof surface changes direction, such as where the roof of a gable joins the main body of the roof. The tool measures the point at which the metal roofing panel is to be cut by sliding the base of the tool down the last rib of the last installed panel until the tip of the pointer arm touches the chalk like along which the next panel must fit. The distance from the top of said last panel to the bottom of the base of the tool corresponds to the distance from the top of the new panel to the point at which its leading edge should be cut to fit along the chalk line.

A treadmill includes a frame. A running belt is coupled to the frame so that the running belt is adapted for rotation relative to the frame. At least one sensor is adapted for collecting parameter information regarding the experience of a user of the treadmill. The parameter information is selected from the group consisting of the user's heart rate, total expended calories, stride length, stride force, cadence, pace, distance, resistance level, incline level, carver count, carver cadence, step count, ground contact time, relative position within a race, and relative position on the treadmill. The treadmill also includes at least one light source that is adapted to selectively communicate information to an instructor relating to the parameter.

An underwater transducer having both projector and hydrophone elements utilizes a new technique permitting the annular projector rings of a given piezoelectric material and resonant frequency to be tailored in diameter to accommodate various requirements, such as a need for more interior space. Where the projector rings can be expanded to the diameter of an accompanying hydrophone array, this makes possible a more compact and, in particular, a shorter structure than has been used for transducers of similar capability before. In the transducer the projector rings are positioned axially along a central support tube alternating with the hydrophones arranged in annular groups. Each projector ring is formed of a plurality of segments of alternately active material and inactive material having a sound velocity differing from (usually faster than) that of the active material. Thus the diameter of the annular elements for a given active material and a desired resonant frequency may be varied since the resonant frequency is related to the velocity of sound in the composite material used in the elements.
