Authorized access to a digital asset is obtained by associating an authentication tag with a physical object accessible to a user, by configuring the tag with a first dataset comprised of a random distribution of three-dimensional elements and with a second dataset comprised of machine-readable data elements, and by authorizing a mobile device to scan the elements. The first and second datasets together comprise an authentication key that uniquely identifies the object and, in turn, the user. The authentication key is scanned by a device in response to a prompt from the digital asset to obtain scanned key data. Predetermined key data and a device identifier indicative of the authorized device are stored in a database. Access to the digital asset is allowed when the scanned key data matches the stored predetermined key data, and when the device scanning the data is authorized.

Secure access to physical and digital assets using authentication key

Unauthorized products are prevented from being sold on online websites. Product identifier keys and private authentication keys are stored in a database of an authentication server. Each identifier key serves as an address for its corresponding authentication key in the database. A product and a security seal are displayed on a webpage served by a website. An identifier key and an authentication key for the displayed product are encoded into the security seal. In response to selecting the security seal, the website extracts the encoded identifier key and authentication keys, and sends them to the database. The authentication server determines whether the displayed product is genuine and authorized when a match is made between the extracted keys and the stored keys.

Method of, and system for, preventing unauthorized products from being sold on online sites

Light-modifying elements of a multi-dimensional barcode are arranged along first and second directions that are orthogonal to each other in a pattern that stores first and second quantities of information stored in the barcode. Some of the elements have different elevations along a third direction that is orthogonal to the first and second directions to store a third quantity of the information. Some of the elements are colored to store a fourth quantity of the information. A surrounding medium at least partially encases at least some of the elements. The surrounding medium has a characteristic that stores a fifth quantity of the information.

Multi-dimensional barcode and method of, and system for, electro-optically reading the barcode by image capture

Objects are identified by authentication tags, each configured with an authentication key that includes a first dataset comprised of a random distribution of three-dimensional elements, and with a second dataset comprised of machine-readable data elements. The authentication keys are readable by image capture and/or RFID reading devices, at least one of which is authorized to read at least one of the keys under predetermined conditions. An object is deemed genuine when the device reading a key has been authorized, and when the reading is performed when the conditions have been met.

A computer-based method for generating a context preserving mapping of tubular structures represented by a 3D dataset having the steps of projecting a skeleton of a 3D tubular structure on to a 2D plane, and adjusting the projected skeleton to correct projection imbued distortion in skeleton length. The 2D projected skeleton is processed to remove intersections, and a surface boundary around the 2D skeleton is determined for the map. The 3D surface of the skeleton is mapped to match the 3D boundary to create a 3D map of the tubular structure.

A method, system, and computer-readable medium for detecting a disease of a prostate. Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure can include receiving an image dataset acquired with at least one acquisition mode; segmenting a region of interest including the prostate from the dataset; applying conformal mapping to map the region of interest to a canonical shape; generating a 3D visualization of the prostate using the canonically mapped dataset; and applying computer aided detection (CAD) to the canonically mapped volume to detect a region of disease of the organ.

System and method for prostate visualization and cancer detection

A floor structure electrical junction apparatus mounted within a structural slab for providing electrical power connections and communication connections. A load bearing chassis has one or more generally rectangular apertures and a top portion having a vertically recessed lip portion circumscribing inwardly facing peripheral edges of each aperture. One or more receptacle modules are constructed to fit within the apertures, where each of the receptacle modules provides a plurality of electrical power or communication connectors. Two or more upstanding support members depend from the top portion where the support members rest upon a bottom portion of the structural slab. The support members have flanges horizontally projecting toward a central portion of the aperture, the flanges being disposed below the recessed lip portion for supporting a bottom portion of the receptacle module. A raceway portion is defined between the bottom portion of the receptacle module and the bottom of the structural slab to provide under-floor electrical wiring access to the receptacle module. A load bearing cover plate covers the top portion of the chassis and communicates with the recessed lip portion along its peripheral edges such that the cover plate is flush with the top portion of the chassis and flush with a top surface of the structural slab.
