Techniques for charger-device pairing for recharge warnings are described. In one or more implementations, a battery of a device is determined to require charging based on a state of charge of the battery. In response to this determination, a message is communicated via a local network from the device to a charger that was previously paired with the device. The message includes a request for the charger to generate a first alert indicating that the charger is available to charge the battery of the device. In addition, the device provides a second alert indicating that the battery of the device requires charging.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for a voltage controlled charge pump and battery charger. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for operating a voltage controlled charge pump. The method includes selectively opening and closing a plurality of switches based on a voltage on a feedback path. The plurality of switches are coupled between a voltage input terminal and a voltage output terminal. A first capacitor is coupled between at least a first switch and a second switch of the plurality of switches. A second capacitor is coupled to the voltage output terminal. The feedback path is coupled to at least one of the voltage output terminal, the first capacitor, and the second capacitor.

The higher wireless charging category indicates an ability to receive a greater amount of wireless power than the first wireless charging category.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for limiting the power drawn by a battery charger based on monitoring of the input voltage and input current supplied to the battery charger from a power supply. In certain aspects, a method generally includes sensing an output voltage of the power supply, wherein the output voltage of the power supply is variable. The method further includes sensing an output current of the power supply. The method further includes providing the output voltage and output current to a battery charger. The method further includes generating a control signal indicative of a scaling of the output current based on a scaling factor, wherein the scaling factor is based on the output voltage. The method further includes providing the control signal to the battery charger to control the output current supplied by the power supply to the battery charger.

Devices and methods for controlling a power supply of a wireless power transmitter based on the request of a wireless power receiver are disclosed. One embodiment provides a wireless power receiver. The wireless power receiver includes a power receiver circuit configured to receive power from a wireless power transmitter at a level sufficient to power or charge a load. The wireless power receiver also includes a processor circuit configured to adjust a level of the received power being provided to the load based on a change in a level of received power to be requested to the wireless power transmitter. Systems and methods for converting voltages between different voltage levels in a receiver are disclosed. In an aspect, a wireless power receiver apparatus for charging a chargeable device is provided. The apparatus includes a plurality of receive antennas disposed on a cover of the chargeable device, wherein at least one of the plurality of receive antennas is configured to wirelessly receive power according to a wireless charging protocol different from at least one other of the plurality of receive antennas. Embodiments include devices and methods for navigating an unmanned autonomous vehicle (UAV) based on a measured magnetic field vector and strength of a magnetic field emanated from a charging station. A processor of the UAV may navigate to the charging station using the magnetic field vector and strength. The processor may determine whether the UAV is substantially aligned with the charging station, and the processor may maneuver the UAV to approach the charging station using the magnetic field vector and strength in response to determining that the UAV is substantially aligned with the charging station. Maneuvering the UAV to approach the charging station using the magnetic field vector and strength may involve descending to a center of the charging station. The UAV may follow a specified route to and/or away from the charging station using the magnetic field vector and strength.
