The invention relates to portable liquid supply device, mainly for water from central and other sources or for suspensions, for example pharmaceutical products and nutrient liquids. The invention can be used in household, outdoors, in the garden plots, in health care institutions, for example, for patients with dysphagia, as the source of purified drinking water or nutrient liquids, which go to a patient easily. Liquid supply device, includes raw liquid vessel, pressure generating means, liquid treating unit, comprising a lid, liquid supply means, liquid treating element and raw liquid inlet element, characterized in that is configured to supply treated liquid in portions from 5 to 100 ml, with velocity 0.5 to 10 ml/sec.

A valved raw liquid supply line, which is connected to a filtration unit including a liquid purification unit with an inlet and with outlets for purified liquid and drain liquid, a mixing device, a means for maintaining pressure, a means for maintaining a recirculating flow of liquid, which is located on a line supplying a mixture of raw liquid and concentrate upstream of the liquid purification unit, a recirculating line, a purified liquid line, a drain liquid line, and a control unit, which is connected to the means for maintaining pressure, pressure monitor, the raw liquid supply valve and a drain liquid discharge valve. Filter cartridge of water purification system

Raw liquid is fed along a raw liquid and drain liquid mixing line to a liquid purification device. Drain liquid is fed along a recirculation line to be mixed with raw liquid. After a set period of time, the liquid purification process is interrupted to flush the liquid purification device by a liquid to remove contaminants built up on the inside surface of the liquid purification device. Downstream of the liquid purification device, the liquid is discharged at high speed into a drain. Prior to flushing, the purification process is interrupted at least once for a time sufficient to enable disruption of a polarized layer of contaminants. A mixture of raw liquid and drain liquid is used as the liquid medium for flushing such that less raw liquid is used for flushing and the service life of the water purification device increases.

The present process provides improved means for adsorbing components and for regeneration of a composite adsorption carbon material (CRAC) used for effecting the desired separation using an electrochemical process under conditions wherein the specific volumetric electric conductivity of the CRAC differs from that of the electrolyte employed by not more than one order of magnitude, a specific current density of at least 0.01 ampere per gram of CRAC is employed, and a high degree of regeneration of CRAC from polar and non-polar substances and heavy metal ions is obtained, as well as improved adsorption.

The invention includes both the method and a device enabling the method to be carried out. The device is constructed to intake impure liquid at the bottom of the filter and initially to effect flow by filling liquid to above the filter outlet near the top, and maintaining flow thereafter by virtue of the presence of a low internal pressure that develops as the liquid passes through the system.

Filtration device for liquid purification

A composite adsorbent element comprising a packed mixture of granules and fibers, which are desirably granular activated carbon (GAC) and activated carbon fiber (ACF). The element is employed as a filter for purifying tap water. In the composite adsorbent element the activated carbon fibers fill the spaces between the activated carbon granules. The size and relative amounts of the GAC and ACF are designed to enable water treatment to remove impurities from water more rapidly than conventional filters using granular activated carbon. Furthermore, when there are significant time intervals between filtration, a packed mixture of granular activated carbon and activated carbon fibers made in accordance with the invention shows an improved ability to rejuvenate its adsorption capabilities in the time intervals between filtrations.
