A condensation heat exchanger including at least one helically-coiled tube, inside which a fluid to be heated can circulate, a deflector, and a shell mounted inside which the tube, the shell having a gas-discharge sleeve having a bottom and a facade for feeding and/or producing a hot gas, inside the shell. The shell comprises a tubular metallic shroud closed at its two ends by a facade and a bottom, wherein the bottom is made of composite plastic, the rear edge of the shroud has a plurality of fastening tongues, the bottom has, at its periphery, a plurality of fastening slots arranged along at least part of its circumference, each fastening slot bordered longitudinally by a first longitudinal rib projecting outwardly, and wherein each fastening tongue is inserted into a fastening slot and folded twice around the first rib.

The present invention relates to a heat exchanger ('), comprising: —a gas-tight casing (), —at least one tube () made from a good thermally conducting material and inside which a fluid to be heated can circulate, this tube () being helically wound so as to form a helical winding () having a longitudinal axis (X-X′) which is arranged inside said casing (), —means for conveying and/or for producing hot gases inside said casing (), such as a burner (), so as to define a combustion chamber () therein, this helical winding () being arranged so as to form a gap () between two adjacent turns, said at least one tube () having a front face () and a rear face () which are opposing, a bottom side () oriented towards the longitudinal axis (X-X′) and a top side () oriented towards the casing (), said front face () and said rear face () of the tube () being planar or substantially planar and being located on either side of the gap (). This heat exchanger is noteworthy in that said at least one tube () has, on the front face () thereof and/or the rear face () thereof, a shoulder () which extends from the bottom side () of the tube towards the top side () thereof, over part of the height (H) of the straight section of this tube () and also over the whole, or virtually the whole, length of this tube ().

The invention relates to a condensation heat exchanger which comprises: &#x2014;at least two concentric bundles (') of tubes made from a material that is a good thermal conductor, inside which tubes a heat-transfer fluid is intended to circulate, each bundle of tubes (&#x2032;) comprising a series of tubes (&#x2032;) in the form of an arc of a circle, the tubes of each bundle (&#x2032;) being arranged in parallel planes with a gap (&#x2032;) between two adjacent tubes (&#x2032;), &#x2014;a single collector () made of a material that is a good conductor of heat and to which the two ends () of each tube (&#x2032;) of the various bundles (&#x2032;) are connected, this collector () being equipped with inlet () and outlet () couplings. This exchanger is notable in that the collector () comprises several partitions delimiting various channels, which allow the fluid that is to be warmed up to be made to circulate in the various successive bundles from the outermost bundle to the innermost bundle.

Condensation heat exchanger provided with a heat exchange device

A deflector for a condensation heat exchanger and to an exchanger provided with such a deflector. The deflector includes two front and rear cups with inner surfaces at the bottom designed in relief so as to have at least one circulation groove. The two cups are assembled on either side of a central partition so that each groove forms, with the partition, a channel in which a heat-transfer fluid is intended to circulate. The channels of the front and rear cups are connected via an opening bored into the central partition, so that the heat transfer fluid can circulate from an inlet coupling to an outlet coupling of the deflector, through the channels by flowing on either side of the central partition.

The invention concerns a surface-combustion gas burner comprising a combustion grate consisting of a metal sheet pierced with a series of slots. This burner is remarkable in that said metal sheet comprises a series of deflectors made in one piece with said metal sheet and protruding on the outer face of same, each deflector extending longitudinally and laterally above the entire surface of a slot, and in that each deflector comprises a guide portion for guiding the gas flow and a junction portion joining to the metal sheet, said guide portion being spaced from the metal sheet in such a way as to provide therewith at least one lateral gas ejection port, said deflectors being disposed in pairs in such a way that the lateral gas ejection ports of same face each other.

Surface combustion gas burner

A door with a gas burner on an inner surface and a system for carrying a combustible gas to the burner on the outer surface thereof. The door comprises a pair of metal sheets rigidly connected to one another at the edges thereof, each sheet having input and output openings for the gas mixture that are mutually separated in order to leave an inner space receiving a deflector plate serving as a thermal shield to be swept over on either side by the flow of the gas mixture supplying the burner. This arrangement reduces heat loss through the door; thus, keeping the outer surface cold, avoiding the risk of burns, and preheating the gas mixture. The invention can be used in heating appliances.

The invention relates to a device that includes means for conveying or producing hot gases and a condensing heat exchanger including: an bundle of helical tubes serving as primary exchanger, mounted within a gas-impermeable housing and equipped with a gas discharge trunk, means for circulating a primary fluid in the primary exchanger, two deflector plates and a deflecting ring arranged so as to circulate the hot gasses through the coils of the primary exchanger. Said device is characterized in that it includes a second tube bundle serving as a secondary exchanger, means for circulating therein a secondary fluid separate from the primary fluid and in that the second deflector plate is inserted between the primary exchanger and the secondary exchanger. The invention can be used in the production of heating water and of hot water for sanitation.

The equipment of the invention includes a boiler, a hot water storage tank, a duct for supplying domestic cold water, and a duct for tapping domestic hot water, wherein said equipment is characterized in that the duct for supplying cold water comprises a T-shaped connector connected by a duct provided with a storage vessel to a re-circulation duct connecting the tank to the inlet duct, provided with a pump, of the boiler, and in that the outlet duct of the boiler is provided with a three-way valve connected by a by pass duct to said T-shaped connector, wherein said valve can selectively assume a position in which it ensures communication between the boiler outlet and the central portion of the tank, or a position in which it ensures communication between the boiler outlet and said bypass duct.

Device and method for stabilizing the pressure and the flow of a gaseous mixture supplied to a surface-combustion cylindrical burner

This exchanger comprises a pair of primary tubular bundles () surrounding a fuel or gas burner (), and a secondary tubular bundle () on which condensation of the steam contained in the burned gases discharged from the primary bundles occurs, wherein the three bundles () are mounted parallel, side-by-side inside a gas-tight casing (), and communicate with one another, with means being provided in order to circulate the water to be heated, between the tubes forming the secondary bundle () and the tubes forming the primary bundles (); the casing () is subdivided at the level of the secondary bundle () by a partition (-) that extends both inside and outside said bundle (), with the arrangement being such that a only a circumferential section of the latter is capable of being contacted and traversed by the hot gases coming from one of the two primary bundles (), and its remaining section being capable of being contacted and traversed only by the hot gases coming from the other primary bundle (). Condensation heat exchanger including 2 primary bundles and a secondary bundle

A domestic combined heat and power system comprising a Stirling engine and water heater in the form of a supplementary burner. The exhaust gas from the Stirling engine is used to preheat combustible gas entering the Stirling engine and subsequently used to heat the water. The water heater has a helical water duct towards the periphery of a housing. Separate parts of this duct are heated, in series, by the exhaust gas from the Stirling engine and the supplementary burner firing radially outwardly through the helical duct.

The invention relates to a condensation heat exchanger. The inventive heat exchanger consists of two co-axial helicoidal tube bundles which are positioned end-to-end, one of said bundles () serving as a primary exchanger and the other () serving as a secondary exchanger. Each of the aforementioned bundles comprises a tube and/or a group of flat tubes which are mounted inside a gas-impermeable casing (). Moreover, means are provided to circulate at least one fluid to he heated inside the tubes, the casing () being equipped with a gas exhaust sleeve (). In this way, a first hot gas, known as the main gas, which is, for example, generated by a burner (), passes radially through the voids in the bundles. A deflector system () ensures that said main hot gas first passes through the primary exchanger () from inside outwards and, subsequently, the secondary exchanger () from outside inwards, after which it is discharged from the exchanger through the above-mentioned sleeve (). The deflector () comprises two adjoining parallel plates () which are made from a thermally-insulating material. In this way, a second (additional) hot gas can be introduced between the aforementioned plates in order to heat the fluid circulating in the secondary exchanger or to contribute to the heating thereof. The inventive condensation exchanger is suitable, for example, for domestic use.

The invention concerns a heat exchanger comprising at least one helically bound bundle of tubes, whereof the thermally conductive wall has a flattened and oval cross-section, whereof the main axis is perpendicular to that (X-X') of the helix, while the width of the interstice separating two adjacent turns is small and constant, said bundle being fixedly mounted inside a casing () fitted with a pipe for evacuating gases generated by a burner (), means being provided for circulating cold water inside said bundle, said exchanger being further designed so that the hot gases pass radially through the bundle via the interstices of the turns. Said exchanger is characterized in that the casing is made of heat-resistant plastic material and means are provided for ensuring mechanical containment of the beam in the axial direction, and for damping the thrust loads resulting from the fluid internal pressure, preventing their being transmitted to the casing. The inventive condensation heat exchanger is particularly designed for domestic use and is inexpensive to produce.

The invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising a pair of tube bundles () through which the fluid to be heated flows, one primary bundle () surrounding a cylindrical burner () and the other secondary bundle () on which the water steam contained in the combustion gas exhausting from the primary bundle is condensed, whereby the tubes forming the bundles have a flattened section and a helicoidal shape, such that the combustion gas flow between the coils, from the inside to the outside for the primary bundle () and in the reverse order for the secondary bundle (), both bundles being arranged inside a same shell (). Said heat exchanger is characterised in that the axial dimension (l) of the secondary bundle is substantially smaller than the axial dimension (I) of the primary bundle, such that an available space for an exhaust trunking () is provided at the end of said secondary bundle (). The present invention also relates to a gas- or oil-fired boiler, especially for domestic application, with high efficiency, space saving and reduced weight.
