Described herein are devices, systems and methods for utilizing fluid cooling to thermally manage electrically-powered devices such as microprocessors and microprocessor chips. Embodiments incorporating features of the present disclosure can purge heated cooling fluid from the system immediately after it has been used to absorb heat from an electrically-powered device, so that other devices in the system do not receive cooling fluid from another device in the system. In some embodiments, cooling fluid can be made to directly impinge on or near an electrically-powered device such as a microprocessor or microprocessor chip.

Thermal management systems and methods for electrically-powered devices such as microprocessors and microprocessor chips

Motorized hub assemblies for use with platforms and the corresponding motorized platforms are presented. At least one of the hub assemblies can be a motor and can contain an internal motor to propel the platform when activated. In some embodiments, the motorized platform has two sets of motorized wheels or two sets or motorized treads for differential rate maneuvering. In some embodiments, different base platforms are mounted to a single set of wheels or a single tread to provide a sporty style ride. A handlebar can also be implemented for greater stability. In all cases, there is no requirement for an electronic stabilization platform.

Motorized platforms

Mobilized platforms are disclosed herein. The mobilized platforms can include one or more fork hangers attached to a platform with a cog-hub assembly attached thereto. The fork hangers can be attached to the cog-hub assemblies such that each fork hanger is attached to a cob-hub assembly at both a first cog-hub assembly end and a second cog-hub assembly end opposite said first cog-hub assembly end. The mobilized platforms can include additional features such as baseplates or transom plates. The cog-hub assemblies can also comprise wheel assemblies or connected cog-hub subassemblies. The mobilized platforms can also include a treading connected to the cog-hub assemblies.

Thermal management system for electrically-powered devices

Disclosed herein are retractable umbrella frame devices comprising a base body structure at least partially surrounding a central axis structure. The central axis structure can be connected to a skeletal frame structure comprising a plurality of arms having a first end connected to the central axis structure and a second free end. The plurality of arms can be moveably connected to the central axis structure, such that the arms can be retracted into or extended from the base body structure. In some embodiments, the base body structure comprises open portions along its length. In some embodiments, the retractable umbrella frame devices further comprise one or more secondary support structures at least partially surrounding the base body structure. In some embodiments, the retractable umbrella frame devices can further comprise guide structures connected to the one or more secondary support structures and the arms of the skeletal frame structure.

Mobilized platforms are disclosed herein. The mobilized platforms can include a first fork hanger attached to a platform at a first platform end with a first cog-hub assembly attached thereto and a second fork hanger attached to the platform at a second platform end with a second cog-hub assembly attached thereto. The fork hangers can be attached to the cog-hub assemblies such that each fork hanger is attached to a cob-hub assembly at both a first cog-hub assembly end and a second cog- hub assembly end opposite said first cog-hub assembly end. The mobilized platforms can include additional features such as baseplates or transom plates. The cog-hub assemblies can also comprise wheel assemblies or connected cog-hub subassemblies. The mobilized platforms can also include a treading connected to the cog-hub assemblies.

A mobilized cooler device comprising a fork hanger assembly is disclosed herein. Cooler devices according to the present disclosure can comprise a platform, an attached cooler body and fork hangers connecting cog-hub assemblies to the platform. Fork hangers can be positioned such that a portion of a first fork hanger adjacent to a first end of the platform is attached to a first end of a cog-hub assembly and a second portion of the first fork hanger adjacent to a second end of the platform that is opposite the first end of the platform is attached to a second end of the cog-hub assembly. Additional fork hangers can be similarly configured. The cooler device can further incorporate additional features, including a treading positioned between the fork hangers and at least partially surrounding the cog-hub assemblies, various cog-hub assemblies and shapes, and motors incorporated into the cog-hub assemblies.

A system of delivering power by light, through a fiber. A system for remote operation of an instrument includes a fiber-coupled power laser source, which has an output fiber with a first core diameter. A fiber taper having a wide end and a narrow end, is used to connect the fiber-coupled power laser source to a system fiber having a second core diameter less than the first core diameter. The system fiber delivers optical power to the remote module, in which a fiber-coupled photovoltaic assembly having an input fiber connected to the system fiber, converts the received light to electrical power. The photovoltaic assembly has a first electrical output and a second electrical output, and the photovoltaic assembly is configured to supply power at a first voltage at the first electrical output, and to supply power at a second voltage at the second electrical output.
