A dispenser assembly having a plunger and a housing is provided. The plunger has an inner plunger portion and an outer plunger portion disposed concentrically around the inner plunger portion. The housing has an inner tubular housing wall, an outer tubular housing wall, and first and second outlet members. The outer tubular housing wall is disposed concentrically around the inner tubular housing wall. The inner tubular housing wall defines a first interior region therein, and the inner tubular housing wall and the outer tubular housing wall define a second interior region therebetween. The first and second outlet members fluidly communicate with the first and second interior regions, respectively. The inner plunger portion is slidably received in the first interior region. The outer plunger portion is slidably received in the second interior region.

A power generating tile assembly includes a tile cover plate that is coupled to a rigid base plate to define an interior region therebetween. The tile cover plate vibrates in response to either sounds waves contacting the tile cover plate or an external force being applied to the tile cover plate. The power generating tile assembly includes a vibrationally-activated power generating device that is coupled to the tile cover plate within the interior region. The vibrationally-activated power generating device generates a first voltage in response to vibrations in the tile cover plate.

A wearable power generating device is provided. The wearable power generating device includes an arcuate-shaped flexible substrate, a first energy generating device, an energy harvesting circuit, and an energy storage device. The first energy generating device generates a first voltage in response to the first energy generating device being in tension or compression or being bent. The energy harvesting circuit receives the first voltage and outputs a DC voltage in response to receiving the first voltage. The energy storage device is electrically coupled to the energy harvesting circuit and receives the DC voltage.

A diaphragm pump having an active feedback system is provided. The diaphragm pump includes a diaphragm pump having a housing including a pumping cavity. The pump cavity having at least one diaphragm dividing the pumping cavity into a first pumping chamber and a first pump actuating chamber. A rod is attached to and reciprocally movable along an axis with the at least one diaphragm with the rod including a ferromagnetic material. An induction coil disposed around the rod wherein relative axial movement between the inductance coil and the ferromagnetic material of the rod varies the inductance of the induction coil. Also provided is a diaphragm pump having an active feedback system in which the rod has an electrically conductive, diametrically tapered portion. A linear displacement sensor is disposed next to the tapered portion which induces a current in the tapered portion and generates an output voltage proportional to a relative position between the linear displacement sensor and the tapered portion.

A diaphragm failure sensing apparatus for use in a diaphragm pump having at least two pumping cavities, each pumping cavity having a fluid chamber and a motive gas chamber separated by a pumping diaphragm. The diaphragm failure sensing apparatus includes a fluid conduit for connection with each of the motive gas chambers of the diaphragm pump, a sensor chamber connected to the fluid conduit, and a check valve located in the fluid conduit for alternately connecting the sensor chamber to the motive gas chambers. Also provided is a diaphragm pump having at least two pumping cavities, each pumping cavity having a fluid chamber and a motive gas chamber separated by a pumping diaphragm. A fluid conduit is disposed between and connected individually to each of the motive gas chambers and a sensor chamber is connected to the fluid conduit which is alternately connected to the motive gas chambers by a check valve located in the fluid conduit.

A reciprocating pump having an active feedback system is provided. The reciprocating pump includes a reciprocating pump having a pump chamber with a rod reciprocally movable along a longitudinal axis of the pump chamber, with the rod including a ferromagnetic material. An induction coil disposed around the rod wherein relative axial movement between the inductance coil and the ferromagnetic material of the rod varies the inductance of the induction coil. Also provided is a reciprocating pump having an active feedback system in which the rod has an electrically conductive, diametrically tapered portion. A linear displacement sensor is disposed next to the tapered portion which induces a current in the tapered portion and generates an output voltage proportional to a relative position between the linear displacement sensor and the tapered portion.

A fluid cylinder comprising a tube having a sidewall and at least one open end, the sidewall has a locking groove formed therein adjacent each of the at least one open ends, each of the open ends includes an edge which includes a chamfer. The fluid cylinder also includes at least one endcap for closing the at least one open end, each of the at least one endcaps comprising: a leading end having a groove formed therein, said groove adapted to receive a compressible retaining ring, the retaining ring adapted to engage the locking groove when the at least one open end is closed by the at least one endcap. Each of the endcaps also includes a shoulder and a sealing member located between the leading end and the shoulder, the sealing member is adapted to sealingly engage the edge of the at least one open end. The sealing member includes a base and a lip made integral with the base, the lip including along one side, said chamfer adapted to engage the chamfered tube edge, said lip adapted to be movable between a first position where the lip is substantially parallel to the shoulder and a second position where the lip is in abutment with the shoulder.

Fluid cylinder and method of assembly

A modular valve system in which individual valves are housed in individual, discrete, pluggable units so that they can easily be assembled. Each unit housing a valve also houses the necessary electrical circuity both to control and actuate the valves. The electrical circuit necessary to actuate a valve has its own power supply and is separate from the circuit that generates the control signal which also has its own power supply.
