A dispensing system includes a liquid dispensing tap and an associated or integrated measuring cap/cup. The dispensing tap and cap/cup are configured such that the cap/cup is assembled with the tap prior to installation onto a container, and stays assembled with the tap during installation onto the container at the filling line, and which can later be removed for use and then reattached to the tap or container after use by the consumer.

A trigger sprayer is described which utilizes a ball valve to control the flow of a carrier fluid such as water. A pump system may include a blown-in clip tube connected to a valve body and having a connection which may include an improved blown-in clip tube connector having one or more of a lip for sealing with a blown-in clip tube, a seal ring configured to mate with a blown-in clip tube and seal therewith, a clip tube lock for mating with a blown-in clip tube, or an o-ring for providing an improved seal with a blown-in clip tube.

The actuator includes a shroud adapted to be situated on an aerosol container over the stem and an actuation member mounted on and moveable within the shroud to depress the stem by the application of an external force applied to the top surface of the actuation member. The actuation member includes a nozzle and a conduit for connecting the stem and the nozzle. A hood is normally positioned to block the actuation member from being moved to depress the stem. A locking member normally intersects the path of movement of the hood to lock the hood in its blocking position. The locking member has two sections both of which must be simultaneously moved to a position remote from the path of hood movement such that the hood may be moved from its blocking position, allowing the actuation member to be moved to depress the stem.

The invention relates to a locking feature for an aerosol dispenser head having a locking feature incorporating a locking yoke that requires multiple motions to unlock, and a single motion to reengage the locking feature.
