A flashing laminate includes a thermoplastic sheet having a bottom surface, a first longitudinal edge, and a second longitudinal edge, the flashing laminate includes an adhesive layer on a longitudinally extending portion of the bottom surface adjacent to one of the longitudinal edges, and a release liner positioned over the adhesive tape.

Thermoplastic flashing laminate

A flashing laminate includes a non-reinforced thermoplastic sheet having a bottom surface, a first longitudinal edge, and a second longitudinal edge. The flashing laminate also includes an adhesive layer on a longitudinally extending portion of the bottom surface adjacent to one of the longitudinal edges. In one or more embodiments, the laminate also includes a release liner positioned over the adhesive tape.

A laminate for creating a waterproof system, the laminate including a polymeric layer and a release liner removably attached to the polymeric layer, where the release liner includes a conductive or semi-conductive material. The polymeric layer may also include a prepared surface on a portion thereof, the release liner being positioned over the prepared surface. The prepared surface may include a layer of primer residue or adhesive.

Static dissipative release liner

A fortified flashing laminate includes an uncured thermosetting polymeric layer having a top surface and a bottom surface. A first layer of vulcanized adhesive tape covers at least a portion of the bottom surface of the polymeric layer, and a second layer of vulcanized adhesive tape covers a portion of the first layer of vulcanized adhesive tape to form a fortified area. The size and positioning of the second layer of vulcanized adhesive tape may be selected to fortify known vulnerable areas of flashing laminates.

A roofing membrane assembly includes a membrane having a top surface, bottom surface, first longitudinal edge and second longitudinal edge. A first primed area is located at the top surface along the first longitudinal edge. A second primed area is located on the bottom surface along the second longitudinal edge. A tape is secured to the membrane on the first primed area. A first release liner is positioned over the tape and a second release liner positioned over the second primed area.

Pre-primed roofing membrane

A method of forming a building material with a pre-applied adhesive, the method comprising the steps of manipulating a first membrane and a second membrane to be spaced from one another along parallel adjacent edges to form a gap; securing a single strip of adhesive tape to a top surface of both said first and second membranes adjacent to said adjacent edges so that said adhesive tape extends over said gap; and cutting along the length of said adhesive tape to form a first adhesive tape and a second adhesive tape, said first adhesive tape being secured to the top surface of said first membrane and extending over a portion of said gap, and said second adhesive tape being secured to the top surface of said second membrane and extending over a portion of said gap.

Method of making a building material having a selvage edge

A fortified flashing laminate including a polymeric layer having an uncured portion and a cured portion forming a fortified area. The fortified area strengthens the flashing laminate at an area of known vulnerability or increased stress to prevent damage to the flashing laminate during installation and prior to curing of the remainder of the polymeric layer. The fortified flashing laminate may also include a layer of adhesive tape covering at least a portion of the bottom surface of the polymeric layer.

A method of adhering a roofing membrane to a roof surface including providing a roofing membrane including a hygroscopic dusting agent on at least one planar surface of the membrane. A water-borne adhesive is applied to the at least one planar surface of the membrane or the roof surface and the roofing membrane is then mated to the roof surface while the adhesive retains a majority of its original water content.
