In a blow/fill/seal packaging machine, aseptic environment is provided by a telescoping fill station shroud through which a sterile curtain gas flows. The telescoping fill station shroud includes an open-ended lower sleeve, an open-ended upper sleeve slidably coacting with the open-ended lower sleeve, and a manifold plate mounted over a proximal end portion of the upper sleeve.

A blow molding apparatus is provided with a mold carriage movable in a path between an extruder station and a blow-and-fill station. The mold carriage can have one or more mold assemblies. Each mold assembly has opposed first and second mold halves that together define a mold cavity. The first mold half is fixed to the mold carriage while the second mold half is independently movable relative to the first mold half within the mold carriage to open and close the mold assembly.

Blow molding apparatus

A gap filler assembly for filling a gap between adjacent sections of a bed. The gap filler assembly has a mattress portion that has an extension at one end thereof that extends between a gap between a first section of the bed and an adjacent second section of the bed. The mattress portion may be a supplemental mattress that is adjacent a side of a main mattress. The mattress portion may also have a hinged slider component on a bottom surface thereof.

A tilt bed for assisting a patient to a standing position comprises a frame, a tilting mechanism, a mattress support plate, a mattress, and a foot support. The tilting mechanism attaches to the frame. The tilting mechanism is movable between a generally horizontal position, and a generally vertical position. The foot support is fixedly mounted to the tilting mechanism. The main portion of the mattress and the patient thereon moves closer to the foot support during tilting of the bed from the generally horizontal position to the generally vertical position, and the main portion of the mattress and the patient thereon moves distal the foot support during tilting of the bed from the generally vertical position to the generally horizontal position in a low shear manner.

Tilt bed

A gap shield assembly for shielding an open area between a first section of a bed and an adjacent second section of the bed. The gap shield has a first shield member and a second shield member. The second shield member is rotatably connected to the second section of the bed. The first shield member is rotatably and translationally connected to the second shield member. The gap shield assembly also has a width extender assembly connecting the first shield member to the first section of the bed to allow the first shield member to move inwardly and outwardly with respect to a centerline of the bed while still shielding the open area between the first and second sections of the bed.

The pedal structures can also include a mechanism for generating a biasing force generally normal to the upper surface of the foot pedal effective to restore the pedal to its normal position after foot impact. The impact absorbing mechanisms can include resilient members, fluid filled bladders and hinge arrangements.

The head assembly of a floor burnisher is suspended by a main lift assembly and a fine adjustment assembly. The main lift moves the head assembly between a raised position in which the pad assembly is raised and tilted for access, and a lowered position in which the pad driver is suspended slightly above the floor, ready for use. The fine adjustment assembly permits the operator to control very accurately and conveniently the final operating pressure of the pad when the burnisher is turned on.
