The present invention provides an injection delivery system for the injection delivery of at least two fluid doses to a small bird by penetrating the skin of the recipient bird with at least one injection needle. The present injection delivery system comprises an injection needle device and a metering device. The injection needle device can either be a stationary unit or a hand held device.

Multiple fluid delivery device for poultry

An in ovo jet injection apparatus and related methods for treating live eggs. The jet injection apparatus includes one or more jet injection delivery devices configured to deliver one or more treatment substances to predetermined areas of eggs using a high pressure stream of the treatment substance(s). Multiple treatment substances can be delivered so that they are spatially and/or temporally separate. The devices and methods of the invention enable the effective use of a plurality of treatment substances, including those that are effective when used alone but can be noxious if mixed. The methods and apparatus for the jet injection of substances into embryonic chicks reduce the risk of mechanical injury to the developing birds that would be caused by injection needles. The methods and apparatus of the invention can also reduce the introduction of an infection into the chicks.

Methods and apparatus for automatic jet injection of bird eggs

The present invention relates generally to a frying apparatus and, in particular, to a frying apparatus comprising a cooking container for containing oil or the like for cooking a turkey, a chicken, or seafood; a shield for shielding the operator from oil splatters and preventing the over-spill of the oil from the cooking container; a supporting stand for holding the cooking container; and a plurality of securing straps for securing the cooking container to the supporting stand such that the cooking container is stably positioned onto the supporting stand of the frying apparatus. One embodiment of the present invention contemplates a cooking container generally configured to removably receive the shield such that the shield, when inserted into the open end of the cooking container securely adjoins and abuts the cooking container so that oil does not spill-over between the shield and the cooking container. However, the present invention also contemplates a frying apparatus having a shield made as a unitary piece with the cooking container.
