A method of using a security display apparatus for media content products in a retail store is disclosed. The method includes arranging sample media content containers in a side-by-side configuration on a front lip of a security display fixture, wherein each of the sample media content containers is anchored to the security display fixture with a security cable. The method further includes unlocking an access door of the security display fixture, in response to a consumer request, to provide access to an internal space defined by the security display fixture rearward of the sample media content containers, and retrieving one or more non-tethered media content containers from the internal space that are of a same title as one of the sample media content containers positioned immediately in front of the one or more non-tethered media content containers.

Method and apparatus for securely displaying media products

A wall fixture supports at least one display screen and a display shelf. The display shelf is located adjacent the display screen and includes a holder for housing a pair of three-dimensional (3D) glasses that are tethered to the holder The display screen displays two-dimensional (2D) media content. In response to receiving an indication from a presence sensor that the 3D glasses located in a glasses holder of the display shelf have been removed from the glasses holder, 3D media content is displayed on the display monitor.

A display fixture for securely displaying a mobile device includes a cross brace and at least two corner members. The cross brace defines a center portion and arms each radially extending outwardly therefrom and terminating in a free end opposite the center portion. The at least two corner members each include a first substantially planar wall, a second substantially planar wall, and two sidewalls extending between substantially linear closed edges of the first substantially planar wall and the second substantially planar wall. A cavity is defined by each of the at least two corner members and is configured to receive a corner of the mobile device. Each of the at least two corner members is secured to a different free end of the cross brace such that an opening to the cavity of each of the at least two corner members faces the center portion of the cross brace.

Display system for mobile electronic devices and associated methods

A mounting fixture includes a box, a first arm, and a second arm. The box includes a primary panel, four sidewalls rearwardly extending from the primary panel, and a central hub rearwardly extending from a rear surface of the primary panel. The first arm extends beyond one of the four sidewalls, includes a first elongated slot, and has a first hook section at an outermost end thereof. The first elongated slot extends around and is slidably adjustable relative to the central hub to cause the first arm to extend further from or closer to the one of the four sidewalls. The second arm extends beyond a different one of the four sidewalls, includes a second elongated slot, and has a second hook section at an outermost end thereof. The second elongated slot extends around and is slidably adjustable relative to the central hub.

Display system with mounting assemblies and associated methods

In some implementations, a wall mount system includes a hanger and complementary saddle bracket mount adapted to retain a monitor at an oblique angle relative to a vertical axis such that the monitors are angled downwardly toward retail patrons. The saddle bracket can in various embodiments include a downwardly facing U-shaped channel that receives a complementarily configured hanger bar which is in turn mounted to a display fixture. Such a bracket configuration can permit, in various embodiments, a television monitor that has a saddle bracket attached thereto to be mounted to the display fixture without the use of tools. The saddle bracket is optionally adjustable without the use of handheld tools along a rail system that is mounted to a television monitor. The saddle bracket may further include outwardly extending flanges to receive and retain excess lengths of power cords extending from the monitor supported by the saddle bracket.

Display system

A display apparatus for portable electronic device including a base, a plurality of mounting sleeves, a plurality of mounting posts, a plurality of mounting brackets, and a power supply unit. The base has a lockable panel that conceals an interior space at least partially defined by the base. The mounting sleeves are coupled to the base. The mounting posts are lockingly engaged with the mounting sleeves in the interior space at least partially defined by the base. The mounting brackets are secured to the mounting posts, each of the mounting brackets fixedly retaining a respective portable electronic device of a plurality of portable electronic devices so that the respective portable electronic device is rigidly secured relative to the base. The power supply unit is concealed and has a plurality of power ports shaped to receive automotive accessory power plugs from the portable electronic devices fixedly retained in the mounting brackets.

Some embodiments of an apparatus for displaying media content products may provide consumers with the convenience of browsing front and rear faces of the sample media content products while all of the media content products (including the sample packages) can be secured in a manner that hinders theft. In particular embodiments, the media content products can be secured without requiring the store workers to insert each and every media content product into a security box or security tether system.

Some embodiments of a product display apparatus may provide consumers with access to samples of portable electronic devices while maintaining the security of the sample devices. The display apparatus can present the sample devices in a manner that encourages consumers to view and operate the user interface of the samples even though each sample unit cannot be physically moved from the display apparatus.
