Vaporization devices, systems, and methods with automated thermal profile control are disclosed. Thermal profile information for a particular vaporizable material is encoded to control the operation of the vaporizer. The thermal profile is defined by a plurality of set points specified by power/temperature setting for a specified time. The thermal profile may be configured to be applied during a single or multiple inhalations. A thermal profile recipe code containing thermal profile information associated with the vaporizer cartridge and/or vaporizable material contained therein may be used to control the thermal profile. The thermal profile information may be automatically read by or communicated to the vaporizer and used thereby to automatically control the vaporizer heating element to implement the desired thermal profile associated with the vaporization material. User controls/inputs and sensors are provided to facilitate adjustment or adaptation of a thermal profile, including to particular use conditions.

A ceramic matrix composite (CMC) is formed by infiltrating a metal or alloy into a fiber preform in a reactor or furnace that is separated into multiple discrete temperature zones. The gradual cooling of the CMC is controlled, such that upon solidification, a narrow, planar, solidification front is created which allows the expanding metal or alloy to move into a hotter section of the fiber preform, opposed to the surface of the CMC. A discrete solidification front is established that moves through the ceramic matrix composite (CMC) as the composite cools.

A container apparatus is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a container provides a plurality of compartments radially arranged about the container, each of the compartments being sized and configured for removably receiving an at least one item. A cover is rotatably engagable with the container and configured for selectively covering and preventing access into at least one of the compartments. Disclosed is a unique concept of a handheld swimming paddle containing a pivoting member with an attached angled section, which provides instant resistive and visual feedback when a swimming stoke is not properly executed. Such feedback allows the unique paddle to act as a technical aid for all levels of swimmers, as well as a device to build the correct muscles required to swim with proper stroke mechanics through constant monitoring. The disclosed invention will introduce resistance that will impede the swimmer's forward progress only when a pull is not properly executed, which means that it will be easier for the swimmer to execute a full proper stroke rather than swim with poor mechanics. Additionally, the disclosed invention will assist in the proper hand placement and orientation at the beginning of the stroke.
