The present invention surrounds a payload for use as a projectile for disabling and neutralizing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) threats and the like. The payload uses a central projectile and one or more satellite projectiles tethered to central projectile. The satellite projectiles provide entangling elements. The satellite projectiles are configured to expand outward from the central projectile after firing to provide an entangling projectile system wherein any object or individual within the entangling zone of the projectile system can be ensnared and neutralized through the entangling action of the projectile system.

The present invention is directed to a projectile configured to provide a submunition payload across a wide impact pattern, similar to that of a shotgun, at a range typically beyond the capability of standard shotgun rounds. The additional range is provided in some embodiments of the invention by allowing the tailoring deployment range of the submunition payload based upon a given threat.

The present invention pertains in general to a suppressing apparatus for the suppression of audible, visible and infrared profiles in the operation of firearms and weapon systems. Embodiments of the invention include the use of a substantially cylindrical component having a helical opening for the dispersion of gasses in conjunction with channels and volumes configured to carry the gasses along the length of the suppressing apparatus toward a distal aspect and toward a proximal aspect alternatively.

The present invention pertains in general to the suppression of firearm and weapon systems to mitigate audible, visual and temperature profiles when in use. Embodiments of the invention include the use of a baffle system surrounded by a sleeve, further surrounded by an outer housing. The combination of these elements creates a multi-volume device providing increased expansion volume within the device to mitigate firearm signature related to the expansion of gasses exiting the muzzle-end of a firearm.
