A device for automatically brewing and holding tea has a water reservoir and a combined water reservoir inlet and heated water distributor attached to and extending forward from the water reservoir, a base for holding a hot tea receptacle under the combined water reservoir inlet and heated water distributor. A hot tea receptacle especially adapted for use with the device has a flat bottom surface for optimal heat transfer from the base to the receptacle.

A single chamber brewing device for brewing beverage has a single brewing chamber for receiving water and a brewing material such as tea, a thermally controlled heating element, and a thermally controlled valve for releasing brewed beverage from the brewing chamber into a container positionable underneath the brewing chamber.

Automatic tea brewing device and tea pot receptacle

An automatic drip beverage brewing apparatus in the form an urn includes a liquid reservoir, a brewed beverage reservoir, a brewing basket for holding coffee or tea over an opening to the beverage reservoir, a spigot in the brewed beverage reservoir for draining brewed beverage from the brewed beverage reservoir, and a cover which covers both the liquid reservoir and the brewed beverage reservoir. The brewed beverage reservoir includes a liner which provides an insulative air gap between the liner and the housing which defines the brewed beverage reservoir. A warming element is attached to the brewed beverage reservoir liner. A swing arm shower head is positionable over an opening to the brewing basket. A conduit provides a liquid passageway from the liquid reservoir to a liquid heating element to the shower head. The liquid and beverage reservoirs may be integrally formed by a common housing mountable upon a base which houses the heating element. A hinge mounted lid covers the open tops of the liquid and beverage reservoirs.

Automatic drip brewing urn

A roll package for items such as postage stamps or other labels that is convertible to a dispenser for such items includes a pair of elongate housing parts formed from a single piece of plastic sheet stock and joined along mutually confronting end edges by an integral hinge. When used as a package, a roll of stamps or the like is held within one of the housing parts by a cover sheet. Plural roll packages are formed from a single piece of flat plastic sheet stock and one or more cover sheets, with the individual packages separated from one another by perforated or scored connecting lines. Individual packages can be removed from the sheet of packages by tearing along the connecting lines.

Roll package convertible to a dispenser

An automatic drip coffee maker (10) includes a timer circuit (42) for providing a preselected 'start' time of day at which an activation/deactivation circuit (40) will activate the automatic drip coffee maker and a 'stop' time of day, independent of said start time of day at which the activation/deactivation circuit (40) will deactivate the automatic drip coffee maker and prevent further reactivation thereof. A 'next-day-reset' switch (58) allows manual resetting so that the activation/deactivation repeats the start/stop cycle at the same preselected 'start', 'stop' times of day on the next day. An auto access button allows creation of an artificial start signal for initiating the cycle immediately.

Automatic drip coffee maker

An under-the-cabinet kitchen appliance functions as an automatic electric can opener and an automatic night light. The appliance includes a housing for the automatic electric can opener integral with a night light bulb housing. The electric circuit for the night light and the can opener are integrated and may include light responsive device so that the light bulb is energized during periods of low room illumination and deenergized during periods of high room illumination.
