A system and method in a network computer environment for loading data into a database using a browser are provided. One or more raw informational items are obtained from a data source. The raw informational items are temporarily stored and parsed. Informational items are written into a production data store which is accessible to end users of a network. The information in the production data store subsequently is validated against the raw informational items for accuracy and completeness.

System and method for loading commercial web sites

A system and method are provided which may be used to determine part compatibility of a selected product configuration. First, a determination is made as to whether a new part is compatible with one or more existing parts of the product configuration. Thereafter, a determination is made as to whether a replacement part exists for one of the existing incompatible part or the new part.

Product incompatibility system

A method in a computing environment is provided for configuring images for display on the Internet. The method includes selecting first and second component images and positioning the images according to a coordinate system to create a configured image. In the preferred embodiment, the method of the present invention is utilized to configure products in an online purchasing environment.
