A party tent has a frame that includes an inner frame supported above an outer frame by a plurality of truss members. The inner frame is smaller than the outer frame in at least one dimensional aspect so that the span across the inner frame is less than the span across the outer frame. In the preferred embodiment, at least one cross member extends across the inner frame and supports a vertical member that extends away from the surface. During the assembly, the internal frame of the tent is put together so that the covering can be placed over this frame while it is at a height of less than six feet. The vertical members are then erected under the covering, thus lifting and stretching the covering for an aesthetically pleasing appearance. After the internal frame, vertical members, and covering are in place, a series of legs is positioned under the tent, thus supporting the tent in a normal fashion. In an alternative embodiment, cables extending across the inner frame support the vertical members on an X-pattern formed by the intersecting cables. The present invention allows for the assembly of large 40 foot by 80 foot tents, in which the maximum height the heavy covering must be stretched is six feet, thus reducing the danger and difficulty of assembling the tent.

Tent frame and party tent

A mobile, modular apparatus for power spraying comprises a first adapter attached to a motor and a second adapter attached to a pump. Both adapters are received and positioned on a wheeled frame with the driving sheave of the motor in operational alignment with the driven sheave of the pump. A recess in the pump adaptor receives a locking bar on the frame to partially lock the pump adaptor in place; the positioning of the motor adaptor on the frame completes the locking of the pump adaptor in place. Before the motor adaptor is locked into position, one or more drive belts are installed on the driving and driven sheaves by rotating the motor about the pump adaptor far enough to where the belts will fit loosely onto the sheaves. The belts are made operationally tight when the motor is rotated back into position on the frame. The motor adaptor is locked into place with a swing lock. The sheaves are covered by a housing that is latched into place. The modular construction makes the apparatus easier to lift, transport, and customize for different uses.

Modular spraying apparatus

Apparatus for washing folding chairs. The apparatus comprises a housing having a channel therethrough dimensioned for receiving a folded folding chair. A continuous conveyor belt conveys chairs through the channel as first one, then a second cylindrical brush assembly scrubs the alternate sides of the chair to loosen foreign matter, assisted by sprays of a cleaning liquid, from the chair's surfaces. Then, the chair passes between rinsing nozzles to rinse off the loosened foreign matter and cleaning fluid. The chair then exits the housing and passes between two perforated tubes blowing air on its sides to remove excess rinse water. The brushes both turn in the same direction so that one turns with the advancing chair and the other turns against the advancing chair for more thorough cleaning. Panels return the chair to the folded condition in the event it begins to unfold in the channel. Easily-removable, windowed apertures on both sides of the apparatus allow inspection of the progress of the chairs and access for maintenance.
