Methods and systems for medicine disposition in hospitals are disclosed. A method includes: receiving, by a computing device, an electronic health record (EHR) of a patient; receiving, by the computing device, an order to dispense a medicine to the patient; receiving, by the computing device, information from a wearable device of the patient and updating the EHR of the patient based on the information from the wearable device of the patient; determining, by the computing device, that a health concern is not identified based on the information from the wearable device of the patient; and dispensing, by the computing device, the medicine to the patient in accordance with the order.

Internet of things communication and social network for medicine disposition in hospitals

An approach is provided for managing resiliency of an application provided by a first service provider (SP). A fail condition indicating an outage of a first service of the first SP is detected. Based on a topology mapping the first SP to a second SP and the first service to a second service of the second SP, a first API provided by the first SP is determined to have provided the first service prior to the fail condition, and a second API provided by the second SP is determined to provide the second service. The first API is disabled and the second API is activated, thereby continuing to provide a functionality of the application that had been provided by the first service prior to the fail condition being detected, even though the first SP is experiencing the fail condition.

Application resiliency using APIs

An approach is provided for managing resiliency of an application. Based on information specifying services provided by service providers (SPs) which is stored in a configuration management database, a topology mapping a first service provided by a first SP to a second service provided by a second SP is generated. Each of the first and second services provides a functionality of the application. A fail condition of the first SP is detected. Based on the topology, a first API provided by the first SP is determined to have provided the first service prior to the fail condition, and a second API provided by the second SP is determined to provide the second service. The first API provided by the first SP is disabled and the second API is activated, thereby continuing to provide the functionality of the application even though the first SP is experiencing the fail condition.

To provision a secure customer domain in a virtualized multi-tenant environment, a virtual machine (VM) is configured for a customer in the customer domain. A first, second, and third virtual network interfaces (VNICs) are configured in the VM. The first VNIC has a first network address within a first address range selected for the customer domain and enables an application on the VM to access a second application in a second VM in the customer domain. The second VNIC enables a third application outside the customer domain to access the VM in the customer domain. The second VNIC is configured to use an addressing specification used by a server of the third application. The third VNIC enables access from the first application to a fourth application executing outside the customer domain. The third VNIC is configured to use an addressing specification used by a server of the fourth application.

Provisioning a secure customer domain in a virtualized multi-tenant environment

A method, system and service for a data center computer network. A core network switches data using a first protocol layer. A first access switch is in electrical communication with the core network. The first access switch communicates the data to the core network using the first protocol layer. A second redundant access switch forms a first access switch pair with the first access switch. The second access switch is in electrical communication with the core network and communicates the data using the first protocol layer. The second access switch is in electrical communication with first access switch and communicates with the first access switch using a second protocol layer. The second protocol layer is at lower OSI level than the first protocol layer. The first access switch and the second access switch are configured to form a first VLAN. A first edge device is in electrical communication with the first access switch and the second access switch. The first edge device is part of the first VLAN.
