One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at a passive sensor of a wearable identification device associated with a patient within a healthcare enterprise from a receiver of a patient status system and corresponding to a predetermined location within the healthcare enterprise, a request signal when the wearable identification device is detected at the predetermined location; deriving power for the passive sensor from the request signal and not from power circuitry within the wearable device; generating, at the passive sensor using the derived power, a transmission from the request signal, wherein the transmission includes identifying information associated with the wristband; and transmitting, from the passive sensor, the transmission to the receiver, wherein the transmission is utilized to update a status of the patient within the patient status system based upon detection of the passive sensor at the predetermined location. Patient identification using passive sensors

One embodiment provides a method including receiving current census data for departments of a hospital. The method includes projecting future census data for the departments. The method includes displaying, in a dynamic user interface on a facility utilization visualization application, a graphical view of a current utilization of the departments of the hospital determined from the current census data and a projected utilization of the departments determined from the future census data. The method includes dynamically updating the dynamic user interface in real-time based upon at least one of receipt of new real-time data, receipt of new historical data, and a new analysis of the real-time and the historical data. Systems and methods for processing real-time and historical data and generating nursing unit health scores

One embodiment provides a method for generating a predictive display on a graphical user interface. The method includes benchmarking performance of a hospital by evaluating metrics of departments within the hospital. The method includes obtaining current facility utilization information for each of the departments within the hospital. The method includes displaying, on a user interface, a graphical display of the current facility utilization information for each of the departments. The method includes receiving a user selection of a second time that is a future time relative to the current time. The method includes calculating at least one predictive utilization level of the departments at the second time. The method includes calculating a difference between the predictive utilization level and the current utilization level. The method includes adjusting the at least one visual attribute of the graphical representation according to the calculated difference. Other aspects are described and claimed.

Systems and methods for processing real-time and historical data and generating predictive graphical user interfaces

One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving a selection to access interaction data associated with a target; receiving a designation of an interaction parameter, wherein the designation of the interaction parameter adjusts a defining standard for a direct interaction and an indirect interaction for the interaction data; determining, using a processor and based on the interaction parameter, whether each of the interactions from the interaction data is associated with a direct interaction or an indirect interaction; and generating an interaction visualization from the interactions, wherein the interaction visualization indicates interactions of the target with the at least one entity and wherein the interaction visualization visually distinguishes direct interactions from indirect interactions. In some embodiments, a system for generating a graphical user interface may comprise at least one processor configured to receive real-time and historical data associated with bed availability, staffed bed availability, a nursing roster, patient census, unit churn, aggregated patient acuity, and patient mix. The at least one processor may be configured to generate, based on the real-time and historical data, instructions to display a user interface depicting a health score associate with a department of a facility at a first time.

The at least one processor may be configured to generate, based on the real-time and historical data, instructions to display a user interface depicting a first representation of utilization of the facility at a first time. The at least one processor may be configured to receive a request to display a second representation of utilization of the facility, the request including a selection of a second time, and generate, based on the real-time and historical data, instructions to display, within the interface, a second representation of utilization of the facility, the second representation reflecting utilization at the second time, wherein the second time is a future time relative to the first time.

Systems and methods are provided for automated routing in a facility. A system may comprise at least one processor, and a storage medium comprising executable instructions to configure the processor to receive first data associated with a condition of an individual, search a database in communication with the at least one processor to identify second data for a set of milestones associated with the condition, select, based on the set of milestones, a plurality of locations in the facility corresponding to the set of milestones, receive, from the database, third data associated with performance metrics of the plurality of locations, determine a sequence of the set of milestones and a path through the plurality of locations, the path being determined by correlating the performance metrics to milestones in the set of milestones, and generate for display a graphical user interface illustrating the determined sequence and determined path.

In embodiments, a system for monitoring optimal patient transport may comprise at least one processor configured to receive transfer request data from an initial user for a patient and determine relevant patient and relevant patient data based on the transfer request data. The at least one processor may be configured to transmit a transfer request to one or more transport providers, receive and store one or more transportation quotes from one or more transport providers through a bid process that is set for a specific time interval, and analyze received one or more transportation quote with previously stored transportation quotes. The at least one processor may further determine winning transport provider and pending transport data, and generate instructions to display a user interface depicting a first representation of a pending transport at a first time.

A self-contained breathing and communication apparatus is described that can facilitate communication between a first user and a second user. A microphone can record sound when the first user speaks. The microphone can convert the recorded sound to a voice signal. A voice activity detection processor can detect spoken words and informative sounds of the first user from the converted voice signal. For this detection, the voice activity detection processor can remove noise from the voice signal. A voice-to-text processor can convert the detected words and informative sounds to a text message. A transmitter of the transmitting module can transmit the text message to a receiver of the second user via a communication network.
