An apparatus for pivotally fixing a non-driven wheel assembly to a vehicle frame is disclosed. The apparatus provides a trough through which non-driven wheel assembly components can be passed and protected. In one embodiment, the trough is circular in shape and is fully enclosed by the apparatus. In other embodiments, the trough has various shapes and comprises retaining members to secure and protect non-driven wheel assembly components. A suspension system interface is provided that allows the apparatus to suspend the non-driven wheel assembly. Openings used to pivotally and rigidly fix a mounting plate, suspension system, pivotal axes, and fender assemblies are also disclosed and claimed herein.

A winch mechanism is described that includes a motor, a drum mechanism, a winch line, and a hammer and anvil mechanism. The drum mechanism is connected to the motor, and the winch line is connected to the drum. The hammer and anvil mechanism is connected to the motor and the drum mechanism within the drum mechanism. The motor activates the hammer and anvil mechanism, and the hammer and anvil mechanism applies a percussive force to the drum mechanism as the drum winds up the winch line. In an alternative embodiment, the hammer and anvil mechanism is disposed around at least a portion of the drum mechanism.

The system includes a headrail, which includes a motor, a gearbox, and one or more tiltable slats. At least one slat includes sliding tracks. The system further includes one or more PV cells movably disposed within the sliding tracks. The PV cells slide in move along the tracks with regard to an amount of sunlight incident on the cells. Methods of operating a solar powered window covering are also disclosed. The methods generally include detecting a tilt of at least one window covering slat. The slat includes one or more PV cells disposed in sliding tracks in the slat, and the tilt indicates an amount of sunlight incident on the cells. The methods also include sliding the PV cells in the tracks with regard to the amount of sunlight incident on the cells.

A vehicle is described herein that includes a unibody vehicle frame, a vehicle body panel, and one or more monolithic tripartite support mechanisms, which mechanisms provide structural support for at least three frame-mounted vehicle components. Each support mechanism includes a windshield support arm, a side view mirror support arm, and a body panel fixing plate. The side view mirror support arm extends from the windshield support, and the body panel fixing plate extends from the windshield support arm, the side-view mirror support arm, or both. Additionally, the windshield support arm holds a windshield to the vehicle, the side view mirror support arm holds a side view mirror to the vehicle, and the fixing plate secures the body panel to the frame.

A lighting system is disclosed which provides dynamic lighting control of each light on a rail lighting system. The lighting system is able to change settings of each light within a track lighting or rail lighting system based on motion, user preferences, lighting conditions, or security parameters. Light intensity and color can be set and scheduled based on user control and programming. Optical sensors may also be used to provide control input for the track lighting or rail lighting.

A smart flush toilet apparatus provides dynamic control of a toilet flush length and/or a toilet flush water volume based on data collected from toilet paper dispenser sensors and/or toilet bowl displacement sensors. A toilet paper dispenser may be used to report toilet paper usage to resupply toilet paper.

The entire second apparatus containing components bolted together is designed to hold motors that are made to run simultaneously or independently, and has a hydraulic system to lay a bed of mortar on a wall to be built and also has the means to keep from clogging the hose, container and cover by installing throw-away plastic liners. The apparatus has the ability to travel on the existing rail system, and for a mortar tray to be raised to a desired height that a mason is comfortable with. It also has special frames when installed for a low scaffold is in place on an existing scaffold it will obtain the desire height and eliminate much of the outriggers that are now installed. Also a low dolly for placement on a rail system can dispense material where needed, also the apparatus has the ability to place bricks or blocks on a bedded wall, thus eliminating many back strains. This additional method too, is mortaring made easier.

The entire unit containing components bolted together is designed to hold bricks, blocks, and a horizontal mobile mortar tray, all easily accessible and within reach so that a mason can place the unit where it is needed. This unit can be used in three ways; to lift one block at a time, to lift three blocks at a time, and to use just the mobile mortar tray. To lift one block or three blocks, a hydraulic system is used. Also, to make mortaring easier, a mortaring guide placed on a block will enable mortar to be placed the length of the block with a minimal amount of spillage. A level line with printed joint spacing, when stretched to the correct length, can readily and simply make the joints faster and eliminate chance of variation error.
