A marker sleeve (1, 1A, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60) having an outer wall (2) defining a tubular body and at least one inner web (3, 4, 16, 21-23, 31-34, 42, 52 or 62) extending longitudinally of the tubular body. An inner web is spaced from its overlying outer wall portion along a longitudinally extending aperture (5, 18, 25, 35, 41, 51 or 61). The marker sleeve is to be positioned about an article which extends through its tubular body.

Marker sleeves

A marker sleeve assembly (1) comprising a plurality of marker sleeves (2, 3, 4, 5, 15 or 16) each joined to a longitudinal connecting member (6 or 6'). The connecting member is formed integrally with the marker sleeves and is attached to the outer wall of each sleeve in the assembly. The marker sleeves are detachably joined to the connecting member so that an individual marker sleeve can be removed from the connecting member for application to an article.

Marker sleeve assembly

A wire marker comprising an assembly of (1) an adhesive element for carrying identification information that has pressure sensitive adhesive on one of its surfaces and (2) a backing covering the adhesive on the adhesive member, wherein the assembly has a pair of spaced apertures through which a wire to be marked is inserted, after which the backing can be removed from the adhesive element and the adhesive element folded over to form an identification flag on the wire.
