A combination container and lid for storing food or other air perishable products. The container includes a wall having a sealing rim extending about the periphery thereof. The rim includes three surfaces. The lid includes peripheral sealing means in the form of a peripheral flange and an annular rib spaced from the flange and defining therebetween an annular recess. The annular recess is adapted to receive the rim of the container. The flange is somewhat resilient and includes an angled surface to cooperate with a portion of the rim to insure that the rim is fully seated with the recess, whereupon three separate annular, fluid-tight seals are produced.

Combination storage container and triple seal lid

An integrally molded storage receptacle having sidewalls which taper slightly from front to back to facilitate removal of the receptacle from the mold in which it is made. The receptacle also includes pairs of compensating ribs to enable it to be stacked on similarly constructed receptacles while maintaining vertical alignment. The receptacle also includes a transparent pivotable door.

Partitioned dispensing container

A dispensing container for dispensing a plurality of different types of items, e.g., vitamins. The container is constructed to include a jar and a releasably securable lid. The jar includes vertically disposed and radially extending partitions to establish a plurality of separate chambers, each adapted for storing a different type or a combination of items. The jar portion further includes a plurality of passages, with each passage being in communication with a respective chamber. The lid includes a downwardly extending sidewall having a dispensing slot located therein. The lid is releasably and rotatably secured to an upper portion of the jar by an annular projection on the sidewall of the jar which engages an annular recess on the inside of the sidewall of the lid. Accordingly, as the lid is manually rotated, the dispensing slot can be brought to overlie a respective passage in the jar portion to permit the dispensing of an item from the associated chamber. The lid further includes parallel ribs, which engage a portion of the jar to align the dispensing slot with respective passages.
