An apparatus and methods of securing a C-Frame to a cable run during the installation process of a cable tap are disclosed. A holding device is removably coupled to an interface positioned adjacent to a C-Frame loosely coupled to a cable run. The holding device which is coupled to the interface is slid over and onto the C-Frame, thereby securing the C-Frame to the cable run. Thereafter, a cable tap is coupled to the C-Frame.

An apparatus and method of assembling a bracket assembly on a cross-arm is disclosed. The bracket assembly comprises a bracket, adjustable plate, first accessory frame, and second accessory frame. First accessory frame and second accessory bracket are coupled to the bracket with captive nuts. The bracket assembly is secured to a cross-arm by the adjustable plate, which is coupled to the bracket with at least one guide pin and an adjustable plate bolt.

The present invention provides, in various embodiments, a push on cap for an electrical cable that can be both temporary and permanent. The cap includes an extension that can be folded back for temporary installation of the cap on the cable, and unfolded onto the cable for permanent installation.

An enclosure for a network protector in an electrical distribution network includes a cabinet body that defines an interior region that accepts the network protector. The cabinet body three electrodes sealed with and electrically isolated from the cabinet body and each other, which extend through the cabinet body to establish electrical connection between corresponding terminals of the network protector and the electrical distribution network. First and second doors are pivotably connected to opposing sides of the cabinet body and have respective contact surfaces to seal against the cabinet body. A first gasket is disposed along a distal edge surface of the first door, and a second gasket is disposed along a distal edge surface of the second door. At least a portion of the first gasket and the second gasket have conformal shapes that sealingly mate with each other when the first and second doors are in a closed position.

Enclosure for submersible network protectors

A gas meter assembly having a universal type connector subassembly. This gas meter assembly includes a gas meter, inlet piping, outlet piping, and a connector unit which has a U-shaped inlet pipe, a Z-shaped outlet pipe, and a strut fixedly connected to the U-shaped inlet pipe and connected to the Z-shaped outlet pipe. The strut has a first hole with a first axis receiving the inlet pipe and has a second hole with a second axis receiving an upper portion of the Z-shaped outlet pipe for rotating through a selective angle a lower portion of the Z-shaped outlet pipe with a third axis, so that the spacing between the first and third axes can be made either more or less than the spacing between the first and second axis, in order to match the spacing between inlet and outlet connections of the meter.
