The invention consists of equipment and a method for allowing old line capacity to provide near dsl or superior dsl quality telephone connections. A method of handling a telephone call with an associated data package over a telephone system having a power pair of lines and a second pair of communication lines with the steps of: a) determining the types of data desired to create a data group from the group consisting of voice, picture, bio-marker (finger print, retinal scan, etc.), card holder information (credit card number, etc.), DNIS and ANSI call data, generating at least one first byte digital data from at least one first digital data generator; generating at least one second type digital data from at least one second digital data generator; prioritizing the data between the at least one first byte digital data and at least one second type digital data so that the at least one first byte digital data is given priority; determining the bandwidth associated with transmission of the at least one first byte digital data; preferentially sending the at least one first byte of digital data within the bandwidth associated therewith; and adding bandwidth as required to include the at least one second type digital data. The data is separated and forwarded on at a site remote from the phones. Data is carried to the phone as well as away from the phone using this prioritized process.

Method for transferring and separating telephone call data

A method is described for handling multiple telephone and data calls having different data type or business protocols an originating phone, phone being broadly defined as the originating device whether phone or computer, wherein there is an originating phone and a destination phone with or without monitoring phones connected through a network, whether a telephone or data network by establishing a remote network processor having incoming and outgoing ports controlled by the remote network processor which has the steps of generating a plurality of protocols applicable to the incoming and outgoing ports; storing the protocols in a database; selecting a protocol for the incoming and outgoing ports; accepting a call from the originating phone on the incoming port; determining if the call is to be completed; setting parameters for completing the call based on the protocols; and completing the call.

Telephone port allocation method

The present subject matter is directed to an apparatus and methodology for recording, at a central data center, telephone conversations originating from remote locations. The present subject matter has particular utility to the penal (corrections) environment in that it discloses a methodology for recording and storing voice and related data at a central data center remote from either the origination or destination locations of a telephone call placed by an inmate in a prison or other facility. The disclosed technology permits storage of both voice and call related data at a remote facility in such a manner that the data is searchably accessible by authorized personnel at other remote locations by way of network or Internet connection to the central data center.

Centralized voice over IP recording and retrieval method and apparatus

A method for operating with multiple protocols for handling communications comprising the steps of obtaining information from sensors and related input devices utilizing specialized tamper resistant passive transceivers working with active pulse type transceivers to create historical maps of information on people or objects. This includes steps of: a) identifying recording information, b) sending and receiving prompts, c) associating the call with timers, d) monitoring passive transceivers with low level diagnostic information, e) monitoring the transceivers with voice recognition software, f) recording associated data, g) identifying the users, the key words or phrases within the recorded data, h) naming the recording and i) saving the data in a protected format.

Computer interface system for tracking of radio frequency identification tags

A telephone operating system is described. The invention is a telephone system have unique monitoring methods and equipment to allow the user to following conversations and retrieve portions of the conversation and to take certain actions in connection with conversations. There may be two groups of users within the system, the first being the maker and recipient of the call and the other being a person or device monitoring the call. The system provides a telephone monitoring device for reading a biological marker for an individual and associating the marker with a pin number and associating the pin number with other call information to be stored with data on the call along with an interface means for storing information on a call from a group of information comprised of the locations from and to which the call is made, the PIN number and name or the maker, time when made and when finished, data of the call, telephone numbers and the like. The system may convert the telephone call to digital format for storage and to maintain a database of data, voices or sounds in a digital format, particularly secondary ring signals, and to compare the digital database of voices or sounds or data (particularly phone numbers, names, addresses and area codes) based on user controlled degrees of similarity and to take different actions from a group of actions including monitoring, marking, terminating or playing a recording before, after or in conjunction with the ongoing call. The invention to feed the data to the comparing mechanism at an accelerated rate, typically 4 to 5 times the speed of the original call, with or without filters for which isolate voice ranges or data ranges, with or without pitch attenuation to keep the voice at an apparently normal pitch.
