Methods and systems are disclosed for an antenna system capable of optimal broadside radiation. In certain embodiments, a system may include a flexible and thin polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate stack having a predetermined length. The system may include a printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication of one or more Leaky-Wave Antenna (LWA) structures on the PET substrate stack. The one or more LWA structures have a bent-stub folded LWA configuration have longitudinal asymmetry and transverse asymmetry for a broadside frequency. The bent-stub folded LWA configuration comprises a plurality of conductively unit cells having a unit cell period. Each unit cell of the plurality of conductively unit cells has a folded main feed-line and a bent stub pair with two angularly bent radiating stubs. Embodiments are structured to increase radiation per-unit length and suppress open stopband (OSB).

Conformal and flexible leaky-wave antenna arrays with reduced mutual couplings

Systems and methods for providing access to a wireless network include apparatus and manufacturing and configuration techniques. Embodiments include a head-end configured to receive electrical power and communicate with the wireless network. In an embodiment, a plurality of integrated access points each comprise components such as a radio, a power supply, a controller, a network transceiver, and an antenna. The components of each integrated access point, whether or not they are assembled on one or more rigid or flexible cards, may be embedded in a material expanse such as a flexible strip, upon which each set of components may be proximally integrated. In an embodiment, a system includes a unified backplane interconnect coupled to the head-end, the unified backplane interconnect comprising a plurality of interconnects. Each integrated access point may comprise a single radio, or more than one radio.

Flexible wireless interconnection and board diversity

A method and system for influencing or forming a list of activities of a user from the location of the user. In one embodiment, a user is tracked with a GPS mobile tracker. The list of locations the user was present at is correlated with a known locations database to produce a list of user activities, with the type of activity designated by the name of the establishment at the location of the user. A further embodiment cross-references the establishment with a known activities database to filter out spurious records, where the user was not present for long enough or was present for too long for the record to be considered meaningful in an application. A further embodiment uses the location information to deduce information about the health of the user.

System and method for determining activities of a user based on location

In one embodiment, a wireless network system includes a set of one or more wireless radios, and a set of software for the wireless network system that comprises a data structure representing the set of one or more wireless radios and a virtualization module that registers one or more virtualized data structures representing a virtual proxy of the set of one or more wireless radios.

Wi-fi virtualization

A method for configuring a flexible wireless networking system is disclosed. The system may include multiple Wi-Fi transceivers coupled to each other in parallel and selectively couplable to one or more antennas by respective switches. The method may include obtaining topology information indicating whether and how each antenna is in reach of other antennas, determining, dependent on the topology information, a configuration change including a change in which and how many of the antennas are coupled to the Wi-Fi transceivers, and initiating an activation of a switch to couple one of the antennas to one of the Wi-Fi transceivers or a deactivation of a switch to decouple one of the antennas from one of the Wi-Fi transceivers. The configuration change may be determined using a machine learning model. The configuration change may include deactivating a currently active antenna and activating at least one alternate antenna having a different coverage area.

Software optimization of flexible wireless networking system

A method and system for constructing and delivering wireless networking, according to some embodiments. Some embodiments embed wireless transceivers into light bulbs and small wall-pluggable devices. Some embodiments use a strip or plane of material embedded with wireless transceivers, power, and networking. Some embodiments use a strip or plane of material embedded with antennas, often switchable. In some embodiments, multiple Wi-Fi systems are surface mounted on a strip that includes networking and power. In some embodiments, a head end is used to interface the strip to the remainder of the network and the main power supply. An over deployment resource manager is disclosed.

A method and system providing medical treatment to patients. In some embodiments, a patient is granted clinically sufficient access to their underlying health records and is able to observe and place treatment orders. In some embodiments, a patient and a practitioner are able to collaborate on the patient's treatments. In some embodiments, a practitioner is summoned from a pool of practitioners. In some embodiments, a change manager tracks changes to the underlying medical treatment plan for potential review, approval, modification, or rejection. In accordance with some embodiments, a method and system for establishing the trustworthiness of software and running systems by analyzing software and its provenance using automated means. In some embodiments, a risk score is produced. In some embodiments, software is analyzed for insecure behavior or structure. In some embodiments, parts of the software are hardened by producing possibly multiple different versions of the software with different hardening techniques applied, and a choice can be made based on user or environmental needs. In some embodiments, the software is verified and constraints are enforced on the endpoint using techniques such as verification injection and secure enclaves. In some embodiments, endpoint injection is managed through container orchestration.

System and method for trustworthiness, reputation, provenance, and measurement of software

A method and system for detecting speech using close sensor applications, according to some embodiments. In some embodiments, a close microphone is applied to detect sounds with higher muscle or bone transmission components. In some embodiments, a close camera is applied that collects visual information and motion that is correlated with the potential phonemes for such positions and motion. In some embodiments, myography is performed, to detect muscle movement. In an earbud form factor embodiment, processing of different channels of close information is performed to improve the accuracy of the recognition.

Portable speech recognition and assistance using non-audio or distorted-audio techniques

A technique for providing per station control of multiple stations in a wireless network across multiple access points. A look-up table that assigns a station connected to the access point and at least one communication parameter to each of a plurality of persistent, uniquely-assigned BSSIDs (Basic Service Set Identifiers) is stored. An access point responds to messages addressed one of the plurality of persistent, uniquely-assigned BSSIDs and ignores messages addressed to other BSSIDs. Persistence of the BSSID allows the controller to maintain individual control over each station after moving to a second access point of the plurality of access points. A frame comprising the plurality of BSSIDs corresponding to each connected station aggregated into the frame is generated. The frame is transmitted to the plurality of stations. Responsive to a station of the plurality of stations being handed-off to a different access point, a uniquely-assigned BSSID corresponding to the station is deleted from the look-up table.

Aggregated beacons for per station control of multiple stations across multiple access points in a wireless communication network

AP's associated with a communication network and any wireless devices desiring contact, operated according to a protocol in which each wireless device selects AP's with which to communicate. A system coordinator causes the AP's to operate so as to guide each wireless device to an AP selected by the system coordinator. This has the effect that, notwithstanding that the protocol involves having the wireless device make the selection of AP, functionally, the AP's make the selection for it. In a 1st technique, multiple AP's share an identifier, with the system coordinator directing one particular AP to respond to the wireless device, thus appearing to wireless devices as a 'personal cell'. In a 2nd technique, AP's each maintain identifiers substantially unique to each wireless device, with the system coordinator directing only one particular AP to maintain any particular wireless device's identifier, thus appearing to wireless devices as a 'personal AP'.

Seamless mobility in wireless networks

Uplink medium access control on per-wireless device level for a specific user. An access point sends a beacon frame to a wireless device. The beacon frame includes a BSSID that is unique to the wireless device. The beacon frame also includes embedded uplink configurations specifying uplink medium access for the wireless device. In one embodiment, a controller recognizes a device or user associated with the device, and sends corresponding uplink configurations for embedding in a subsequent beacon frame.

Per user uplink medium access control on a Wi-Fi communication network

A system and method for securely delivering and updating media using portable storage. In one embodiment, field-modifiable storage presents itself to the host system as a read-only standardized media player, where the user adds, replaces, or updates media onto that storage. A further embodiment establishes encrypted streaming from field-modifiable storage directly into the graphics processor of the viewing host, bypassing the general-purpose computing infrastructure.
