Systems and methods are presented for drilling a wellbore with a portion having a short radius of curvature. The systems include a drill assembly having a motor and a tubular housing. An actuator is at least partially disposed within the tubular housing and couples the motor to the tubular housing. The actuator is configured to selectively articulate the drill assembly between a straight configuration and a bent configuration. At least one torque anchor is fluidly-coupled to a trailing end of the drill assembly. Methods are presented for selectively articulating the drill assembly to form the wellbore, including the portion having short radius of curvature. Other systems and methods are presented.

The fluid mixture comprises the drilling fluid after the drilling fluid exits the drill string.

A method and system for surface production of gas from a subterranean zone includes forming a drainage pattern in a subsurface zone. The drainage pattern includes a plurality of cooperating bores and has a coverage area extending between the cooperating bores. Water pressure is lowered throughout the coverage area of the subsurface zone without significant subsurface drainage by producing water through the cooperating bores of the drainage pattern to the surface. Gas is produced from the coverage area of the subsurface zone with at least some of the water.

A flow control system includes a pump positioned in a wellbore to remove liquid from the wellbore. An isolation device is positioned downhole of the pump and is expandable within the wellbore between a sealed position and an unsealed position. The isolation device in the sealed position substantially reduces gas flow at the pump during removal of the liquid.
