A heat sink assembly for protecting at least one electronic device is provided which comprises a heat sink and a clip. The clip includes first and second opposed end portions and an interconnecting intermediate portion. The first end portion is pivotally anchored. In order to bias at least one device against the heat sink, the intermediate portion includes at least one spring member resiliently engageable with at least one electronic device. The second end portion removably fastens the clip to the heat sink.

A coaxial connector includes a housing carrying an insulator. The insulator carries a center contact with a spring biasing the cneter contact. A volute spring engages the housing and provides the ground or shield contact. The housing is formed of two halves with the volute spring and alignment pins holding the housing halves together. A coaxial cable has its shield clamped between the housing halves for providing the ground connection to the volute spring. The coaxial cable center conductor is connected to the center contact within the housing.

Coaxial connector

A vehicular adaptor for a portable communications device, such as a cellular telephone, pager, or two-way radio, is disclosed which includes a connector that aligns itself to a mating connector on the communication device. The connector permits spatial alignment of electrical contacts in the connector with electrical contacts in the communications device. A corrugated spring mounting clamp and a locating nest on the connector permit the alignment of connections.

Portable communications device adaptor

The molded resonator includes at least one formed resonator element having an resonator portion and opposed end leg portions which provide electrical connections to the main portion. A dielectric portion is molded about the resonator element. A conductive ground plane is carried by the dielectric portion and electrically shields the resonator element. The resonator element is formed of wire having a circular cross-section.

For proper pre-assembly alignment of the hinge plate holes (e.g., 120b and 136b), stops (e.g., 140a) are engaged in notches (e.g., 119b). A hinge pin (128) is then inserted into the aligned holes to attach the clip (130) to the base plate (102). The pin is locked in position by a spring finger (204) that forcibly engages the semicircular wall (202) of one hinge plate hole (120a) into a groove (304) on the pin. A coil spring (122) is unloaded during assembly because its free ends (124a and 124b) project through apertures (116a and 116b) in the base plate. After assembly, the spring is pre-loaded by engaging its free ends under tabs (116a and 116b) that project into the apertures. The base plate has a 'U' shaped bracket (502) at one end and a tab (112) on a torsion bar (110) at the other end to attach the assembly to a radio housing.
