A ceramic carrier substrate for an electrical/electronic circuit. The substrate includes ceramic layers arranged one above the other in an interconnected structure and conductor tracks arranged on and/or in individual ceramic layers and connected to one another as the conductor structure for the electrical/electronic circuit. The interconnected structure is formed by a firing operation. A first conductor substructure is formed in a first interconnected structure subassembly which comprises at least one of the ceramic layers, and a second conductor substructure is formed in a second interconnected structure subassembly which is directly adjacent to the first interconnected structure subassembly and comprises at least one of the ceramic layers. The second conductor substructure substantially consists of high-current conductor tracks and is configured to contact a power circuit. The first conductor substructure substantially consists of signal conductor tracks and is configured to contact a drive circuit for the power circuit.

The invention relates to a circuit carrier () comprising a plurality of inorganic substrate layers () that have partial metallizations () for the purpose of electrical and/or thermal conduction, and to a corresponding method for producing such a circuit carrier (). A device for holding components made of a ferromagnetic material that are arranged consecutively in a row and are held in place with one contact surface resting against at least two adjacent magnetic poles of opposite polarity, with the magnetic lines of force between the magnetic poles being concentrated in a region close to the contact surface of the components without magnetically influencing the working surfaces opposite the contact surfaces, in which the component holding capacity of the device is considerably increased, without impairing the residual magnetic field in the edge areas, by arranging multiple rows of the components parallel to each other and assigning to the outer rows of the components additional magnetic circuits that divert or compensate for the residual magnetic field of the working surfaces of the components.

Device for retaining components made from a ferromagnetic material

In a method for determining a thickness of a layer of electromagnetically conductive material, the measurement errors resulting from different quality of the basic material are eliminated. For each basic material, one dimensionless characteristic value (K) is ascertained. With the aid of a characteristic calibration curve, each characteristic value (K) can be assigned a correction factor (F), with which the measured value of the layer thickness (D ) can be converted into a real value of the layer thickness (D). Different electrical and magnetic properties, dictated by the different quality of the basic material, can thus be largely eliminated.

A process for determining a thickness of a layer of electrically conductive material, any measurement errors are converted into dimensionless norm values with the aid of a normalization process. In this conversion, measurement errors, for example due to temperature drift and different electrical and magnetic properties of the base material of the carrying body can be largely eliminated. These norm values are converted into layer thickness values with the aid of a calibration curve.

Process for determining the thickness of a layer of electroconductive material deposited on a body

This invention is for holding components made of a ferromagnetic material parallel to a component axis for electroplating the component. The component substrate according to the invention has at least two magnet poles, oriented toward the components and having opposite polarity. The magnet field lines extend from one magnet pole to the other magnet pole through the components only in the vicinity of a contact faces of the components oriented toward the magnet poles. This prevents ferromagnetic particles from depositing on the ends of the components remote from the contact faces. The apparatus according to the invention is especially suitable for holding a plurality of components during electrolytic surface coating of the components.
