A rotor for an electric machine includes a rotor yoke having a plurality of axial winding slots distributed on an outer periphery of the rotor yoke; a winding bar disposed in one of the plurality of axial winding slots, the winding bar having at least one winding end emerging axially from the rotor yoke so as to form an end winding; and a retaining device including a plurality of radial bolts, each of the plurality of radial bolts having a head fixedly connected to a shank, wherein the retaining device retains the end winding against a centrifugal force acting on the end winding.

A rotor for an electrodynamic machine includes a laminated core having a plurality of lamination segments arranged in series in an axial direction, wherein the laminated core includes cooling ducts formed by duct spacers disposed between axially adjacent lamination segments, wherein the duct spacers are configured to resist centrifugal forces acting on the duct spacers and are supported by axial bolts extending through the laminated core in the axial direction.

In the bulb-type generator, the stator laminated body (2) is suspended on the housing ring (1) by means of V-shaped elements (14). The housing ring is reinforced by the V-shaped elements. Air or cooling water can be directed for cooling purposes to the cavities (18) produced by the V-shaped elements (14) and the inner wall of the housing ring (1). In this way, a portion of the lost heat is already dissipated over flowing water when passing over the cold housing wall enlarged by the V-shaped elements (14).

Bulb-type generator

A combined supporting and guide bearing for a tubular turbine plant has an axial guide bearing with two bearing supporting surfaces in an annular groove of the shaft. The bearing segments are each fastened to the radially inner section of a common supporting beam which is detachably fastened to the bearing support and extends into the annular groove.

In a vertical-axis waterpower machine, the shaft is mounted in a bearing-supporting star. It has a track ring for a supporting bearing. Supporting-bearing segments are supported via adjusting elements on a supporting ring firmly connected to the bearing-supporting star. To simplify the construction and improve the accessibility of the adjusting elements, the latter are designed as rocking levers. The rocking levers act as single-armed or double-armed levers and are elastic in the lever longitudinal direction.

Vertical-axis waterpower machine

In the rotor of an electric machine, in particular a motor-generator set for pumped storage units, the rotor body (6), which is constructed from laminated metal sheets, is held together by axially extending clamping bolts (8). The rotor winding (16) is inserted in slots on the outer circumference of the rotor body and held there against the effect of centrifugal force. The winding ends (16a), which emerge axially from the rotor body and form the winding overhang (17), are secured against the effect of centrifugal force by radially extending stud bolts (37) which are screwed into a support ring arrangement (19, . . . , 24). The support ring arrangement comprises a plurality of rings (19, . . . , 24) spaced apart in the axial direction. The rings in the section near the axis of the rotor body are clamped together together with the press fingers (30) by means of the tension bolt (8) axially penetrating the rotor body. Provided in the section further from the axis are further tension bolts (25, 26, 27) which axially penetrate only the said ring arrangement and clamp the rings together axially.

In an end-plate-less formed pole (1) for electric machines with salient poles, combined clamping and support elements (26, 27) which are used both for clamping together the single laminations (2) and for supporting the pole coils (41) are provided in the area close to the axis, in addition to the conventional clamping elements (8, 10). In addition, these elements are used for anchoring the damper plates (44, 45) and flexible link pieces (46) of the damper rods (43).
