A control method for operating a waste incineration plant with a auxiliary burner is disclosed. A steam power is regulated as a function of a burner power of the auxiliary burner. For this purpose, on the basis of the burner power, a burner steam power is determined, which represents the contribution generated by the auxiliary burner fire to the steam power of the waste incineration plant.

Control method for waste incineration plants with auxiliary burner operation

Waste-throughput limiting control device (MBR) comprising at least one averaging unit (ME), a waste-throughput limiting controller (MBr) and a minimum unit (MIN). Starting from a waste weight (MG) applied to a charging system of the waste incineration plant and a predetermined maximum waste throughput, the waste-throughput limiting control device (MBR) adapts a steam output setpoint (DS). which is intended for further processing at a downstream primary combustion control (FLR), in such a way that an economically appropriate (time-limited) operation, acceptable from the plant engineering point of view, within a defined overload region is made possible and prolonged overloading due to an unhindered increase in the waste feed during the incineration of waste having a low calorific value is efficiently prevented.

Waste-throughput limiting control

A method for operating a refuse incineration plant and to a regulating system, in which, after the fire has been fanned, the generation of heat is made more uniform by regulating at least one of the following operating parameters: refuse metering; residence time on a grate; quantitative supply of primary air; and quantitative preheating of primary air. To match the operating parameters to a varying calorific value of the refuse, the calorific value of the refuse is recorded as well as the standard regulating variables and is used to adapt the regulating device. The measure used for the calorific value is, for example, the moisture content of the flue gas generated during the incineration. Consequently, there is no need for the operator to estimate the calorific value and manually adapt the operating parameters accordingly.

Method for operating a refuse incineration plant

An arrangement for regulating a rolling mill for metal rolling, the work rolls of which are supported by guided roll shells of a lower controlled deflection roll and an upper controlled deflection roll, the roll shells being supported by means of hydrostatic pressure or support elements upon a related roll support or beam. First regulation circuits are provided for regulating the pressure of the pressure or support elements of the controlled deflection rolls. A second regulation circuit for the position of the roll shells overrides the first regulation circuits, so that adjustment output magnitudes of the second regulation circuit can be impressed as reference or set values or adjustment magnitudes upon the first regulation circuits. There is also provided a third regulation circuit for the rolling force or the roll nip which overrides the second regulation circuit, so that the adjustment output magnitude of the third regulation circuit can be impressed as a reference or set value or adjustment magnitude upon the second regulation circuit.
