The invention relates to a hydraulic tool mount having a bore into which a sealing piston is inserted, wherein the sealing piston comprises a pin, a seal and a head which are arranged one behind the other in an axial direction (A) and thus form a stack, wherein the seal comprises a circumferential sealing lip for abutment and sealing against an inner wall of the bore in order to achieve a first sealing effect, and the bore comprises a sealing seat which, when the sealing piston is inserted, forms a stop for the head in axial direction (A), so that, in an end position of the sealing piston, the head abuts the sealing seat and thereby closes the bore in order to achieve a second sealing effect. The invention further relates to a corresponding sealing piston.

The invention relates to a sealing piston, which is designed for use in a hydraulic expansion chucking device. The sealing piston comprises a pin that extends in an axial direction (A), and a seal that adjoins the pin and likewise extends in said axial direction (A). The seal comprises a sealing shaft that adjoins the pin and has a shaft radius (Rs). The seal further comprises a sealing head that adjoins the sealing shaft, wherein the sealing head comprises a circumferential sealing lip, which has a sealing radius (Rd) that is greater than the shaft radius (Rs). The sealing lip forms a contact surface in radial direction (R) for abutment and sealing against an inner wall of a bore in the expansion chucking device, and, measured in axial direction (A), has a sealing length (Ld) that is greater than the difference between the sealing radius (Rd) and the shaft radius (Rs). The invention further relates to a corresponding expansion chucking device.

A reducing sleeve for fastening a machining tool in a tool holder is described. Said reducing sleeve comprises a reducing sleeve body, which comprises a first tool-side end and a second tool holder-side end. In addition, at least one coolant supply channel is provided in the reducing sleeve body. Furthermore, a multifunctional interface is arranged at the second end and is designed for coupling to a sealing unit and a safety unit. An adapter sleeve is described for inserting into an expansion chuck of a cutting device with a substantially cylindrical body that defines a longitudinal axis (L) of the adapter sleeve and a seat area for a cutting tool. The body comprises an axial front end and an axial rear end opposite the front end by means of which the adapter sleeve can be inserted into the expansion chuck of the cutting device. An outlet element is provided at the axial front end through which a coolant can be discharged toward the cutting tool. At least one cooling line extends along the body up to the outlet element and comprises a body line section and an outlet element section. At least one channel-like outlet nozzle is formed in the outlet element and is in fluidic connection with the at least one cooling line. The flow cross-section of the cooling line decreases or remains the same toward the axial front end. In addition, a cutting device is described.

Adapter sleeve and cutting device

An improved adapter sleeve is submitted which has a shank for insertion into a toolholder for a machine tool, wherein a tool socket for holding a tool is formed in the shank, wherein a number of slots are disposed along the shank so that the shank can be compressed during clamping, wherein a cutting head is formed which is arranged on a front side (F) of the shank. In one embodiment, the cutting head has an insert seat for a cutting insert.

Adapter sleeve

The invention relates to a hydraulic expansion chuck having an end on the tool side; and an end on the machine side. A shaft is disposed on the end on the machine side for clamping the expansion chuck in a machine tool. An expanding bushing is disposed on the end on the tool side and surrounded by a pressure chamber and can be radially deformed for clamping a tool under the action of a pressure medium received in the pressure chamber.

Reducer sleeves are described herein. Reducer sleeves described herein comprise a reducer sleeve body having an axial forward end and an axial rearward end. The reducer sleeve body defines a longitudinal axis. Reducer sleeves further comprise a flange disposed at the axial forward end of the reducer sleeve body. The flange defines a first nozzle disposed at a first radial distance from the longitudinal axis and a second nozzle disposed at a second distance from the longitudinal axis. The reducer sleeve body defines a first trough extending from the axial rearward end to the axial forward end. The first trough is in communication with the first nozzle and the second nozzle, whereby coolant is able to enter the first trough and flow along the first trough and into the first nozzle and the second nozzle such that the coolant is ejected by the first nozzle and the second nozzle.

Hydraulic expansion chuck with a basic body, with an expansion bush which is received in the basic body and defines a reception space for a tool to be clamped, and with a pressure chamber which is delimited between the expansion bush and the basic body. A securing pin extends through the basic body and the expansion bush into the reception space. Also broadly contemplated herein is a method for producing a hydraulic expansion chuck via: providing a basic body with a blind hole, into which an internal thread is cut. An expansion bush is then soldered into the basic body. Finally, an orifice is made at the bottom of the blind hole and extends through the material of the expansion bush into a tool reception space which is delimited in the expansion bush.

Expansion chuck

A hydraulic expansion chuck includes a basic body, an expansion bush which is received in the basic body and defines a reception space for a tool to be clamped, and a pressure chamber which is delimited between the expansion bush and the basic body. A securing pin is provided, which extends through the basic body and the expansion bush into the reception space. A method for producing a hydraulic expansion chuck is disclosed. First, a basic body is provided with a blind hole, into which an internal thread is cut. Then, an expansion bush is soldered into the basic body. Finally, an orifice is made at the bottom of the blind hole and extends through the material of the expansion bush into a tool reception space which is delimited in the expansion bush.

A hydraulic expansion chuck for receiving a tool includes a chuck body, an expansion bushing which is received in the chuck body and defines a chuck opening, a pressure chamber which is interposed between the expansion bushing and the chuck body, and a reduction sleeve. The reduction sleeve is received in the chuck opening of the expansion bushing and defines a tool holder receptacle for receiving the tool to be chucked. The reduction sleeve includes a connector element configured to releasably attach the reduction sleeve to the chuck body. The reduction sleeve also may include an adjustment element configured to adjust the axial position of the tool in the tool holder receptacle.

A rotary cutting tool, in particular a drill or milling cutter for heavy-duty cutting applications, is provided, said rotary cutting tool having at least one cutting edge and a shank having a free end. The shank has in its circumferential surface a groove for receiving a pull-out prevention element, wherein the groove extends axially and at the same time at least partially along the circumference of the shank and, starting at a distance from the free end of the shank, in the direction of the opposite free end. The invention relates to a hydraulic expansion chuck with a basic body, with an expansion bush which is received in the basic body and defines a reception space for a tool to be chucked, and with a pressure chamber which is delimited between the expansion bush and the basic body, at least one solder region being provided, in which the expansion bush is soldered to the basic body, wherein, between the pressure chamber and the solder region, a seal is provided which is formed by an at least essentially fluid-tight bearing contact of the expansion bush against the basic body.

A tool holder has a body with a spindle side for fastening the tool holder to a spindle of a machine tool and a tool side for accommodating a tool and has a lubricating media passage from the spindle side to the tool side that contains a lubricating media bush adjustable in the axial direction in the body. The lubricating media bush opens out on the tool side of the body, wherein a guide for the lubricating media hush is provided in the body. The guide contains a fitting section in which the lubricating media bush is adjustably guided, wherein a seal is provided which seals the lubricating media bush relative to the body.
