The magnet system is part of a relay, which displays particularly low-noise switching. Components of the magnet system include a core unit ( ), an armature ( ) and a not represented coil, whereby the armature ( ) is preloaded in an open position. The low-noise switching behavior is achieved in that the armature ( ) is designed in such a manner that the armature pole face in the region of its front end ( ) in the closing direction is essentially perpendicular to a connecting line ( ) towards the bearing edge ( ). In addition, when the armature ( ) is attracted, the core pole face ( ) extends at least substantially parallel to the armature pole face ( ). The arrangement according to the invention requires no additional parts for the purpose of noise reduction, resulting in a particularly simple and compact structure.

Magnet system for a relay

The relay is formed from two half-shells which are formed by extrusion coating the functional elements with plastic. A first half-shell is formed by extrusion coating a coil with a U-shaped core, while a second half-shell is formed by extrusion coating a spring support and at least one fixed contact element. A contact spring having a flat armature is attached to the spring support. The relay is adjusted and at the same time sealed by the process of joining the two half-shells.

Process for manufacturing an electromagnetic relay

A method of manufacturing a relay wherein the relay has a coil body that is formed by plastic injection molding. The method further includes the step of embedding into the coil body injection mold a contact spring terminal pin and a number of fixed contact carriers and coil terminal pins. The method also includes the step of embedding a core into the coil body injection mold.

Method of making a relay

The relay comprises a first housing part in which a coil having a U-shaped core is embedded, as well as a second housing part in which at least one spring support as well as at least one mating contact element are anchored. A contact spring with a flat armature is attached to the spring support. The relay is adjusted and additionally sealed by joining the two half-shells.

Electromagnetic relay and process for producing the same

The inventive relay has a base body in the form of a coil body (,), the base body supporting a core (,), a yoke (,), an armature (,) and a contact spring (,) which is connected to the armature. Fixed contact supports (,) and a contact spring connection pin (,) which consist of semi-finished wire with a preferably rectangular or square cross-section are embedded in a flange (,) of the coil body (,). The inventive electromagnetic relay is therefore very simple to produce. There is no wasted material, no punching tools are needed for the contact connection parts and since no particles of plastic are abraded by insertion, there is no risk of this impairing the quality of the relay.

Electromagnetic relay

A component, in particular a relay or other electromechanical component, has a parallelepipedal housing whose outer sides respectively have projections in the form of ribs or nubs integrally formed on them. As a result of this, impact stresses occurring when the component is handled are absorbed up to a defined magnitude and, above this specified magnitude, are identified externally by damage to the projections. This prevents components from being fitted despite invisible prior damage and from subsequently failing due to the invisible prior damage.

The battery section switch is switched between a terminal post and a main circuit using a contact arrangement. The contact arrangement can be locked in its closed position via a toggle spring device that acts directly on a free end of a contact spring. The toggle spring device is also coupled to the armature of an electromagnet system which, given excitation, releases the interlock and opens the contact arrangement. Given this battery section switch, the on-board network of a vehicle can be quickly switched current-free, given a collision or given a short-circuit, in order to reduce the risk of fire or in order to prevent a discharge of the battery given some other malfunction.

An electromagnetic relay is provided with a coil body that is preferably composed of ceramic with a winding and a U-shaped core yoke whose ends are bridged by a flat armature. The armature actuates an insulating switching spring made of ceramic or a similar material that, crosses the armature at about a 90.degree. angle, and extends between the ends of the core yoke and bridges two cooperating contacts at its movable end with a bridge contact. The relay can be utilized even in a very small design at high ambient temperatures.

A relay has a coil form, preferably made of ceramic, with a winding and a U-shaped core yoke, whose ends are bridged by a flat armature. The armature actuates an insulating switching spring, made of ceramic or a similar material, which bridges two counter-contacts with a bridge contact on its movable end. The relay can be used at high ambient temperature, even with a very small construction.

An electromagnetic differential current trigger is provided which includes a coil with a U-shaped yoke. A permanent-magnetic armature is guided axially inside the coil that retains the armature against a yoke leg opposing the force of a compression spring in the idle position, whereas a compression spring actuates a power switch via an actuation element given triggering by a differential current in the coil. The differential current trigger requires few parts and can be magnetically balanced in a fast and efficient manner.
