An elevator system arrangement includes a car, a brake strip and an elevator brake device for braking the car on the brake strip, preferably on a brake strip integrated in a guide rail. The elevator brake device includes: a brake housing displaceably mounted in the elevator brake device and is held in a standby position by an applied force, a brake body movably arranged on the brake housing and designed to clamp the brake strip, a pusher arranged on the brake housing so that the brake strip can be arranged between the brake body and the pusher, wherein, when the elevator brake device installed, the distance from the car-side delimitation plane of the elevator brake device to the end face of the brake strip is less than 70% of the distance from the car-side delimitation plane of the elevator brake device to the car-remote plane.

Elevator system arrangement having an elevator brake device

A method for centering a self-propelled elevator car in an elevator installation, the car having at least two driven friction wheels pressed against each of two opposing guide surfaces of a first and second guide rail strands to drive the car along a travel path, the method including independently adjusting a first rotational speed of the friction wheels acting on the first guide rail strand and a second rotational speed of the friction wheels acting on the second guide rail strand. In a centered state, a center of the car is located on a center plane extending in parallel with the first and second guide rail strands, and when a deviation of the car center from the center plane is detected, the first rotational speed and/or the second rotational speed is changed such that, when the car moves along the travel path, the car center moves toward the center plane.

Method for erecting an elevator installation

An elevator system includes an elevator car movable in an elevator shaft, a suspension means extending in the elevator shaft, a drive machine associated with the suspension means and a controllable coupling device arranged on the elevator car. The suspension means has a coupling element that the coupling device can be coupled to and uncoupled from, as a result of which a drive connection between the elevator car and the suspension means can be established and released. The elevator system has a guide system guiding the coupling element during a movement in the elevator shaft. The guide system has a guide that is stationary relative to the elevator shaft and a runner that is connected to the coupling element via a connection and is guided along the guide. The connection between the coupling element and the runner enables a relative movement between the runner and coupling element.

Elevator system

A cable brake includes a pair of brake shoes having braking surfaces facing one another and between which a brake cable is guided. A first brake shoe is movable between a braking position, pressing the cable against the braking surface of the other brake shoe, and a release position, releasing the cable between the brake shoes. A releasable retaining device retains the first brake shoe in the release position, and/or a reset device switches the first brake shoe from the braking position to the release position. Two rotatably mounted pivot arms connected to the first brake shoe are arranged in a parallelogram with one side oriented in parallel with the cable guidance direction. A switchable electromagnet of the retaining device holds the first brake shoe in the release position. The brake shoes, pivot arms, retaining device and reset device are arranged in a housing connected to an elevator car.

Cable brake, elevator car and elevator system

An elevator system includes an elevator car that is movable in an elevator shaft in the vertical direction, a closed support belt guided about a lower deflection roller and an upper deflection roller and a drive machine driving the support belt. A drive connection is made between the support belt and the elevator car with a coupling device arranged on the elevator car that is coupled to a coupling element of the support belt. The coupling element is a connection element that connects two free ends of the support belt together.

An elevator system caliper brake includes first and second brake levers each with a brake pad wherein the brake levers move the brake pads relative to one another along an actuation axis. The first brake lever is rotatably mounted at a stationary first mounting point at a housing of the brake, and the second brake lever is rotatably mounted at a second mounting point on an intermediate lever that is rotatably mounted at the brake housing. A tension element can be moved approximately parallel to an actuation axis and is connected to the brake levers at mounting points between the respective brake pads and the brake lever mounting points. A closing spring moves the first and second brake levers to decrease the distance between the brake pads and a linear spindle drive connected to the intermediate lever selectively counteracts the closing spring to increase the distance between the brake pads.

Caliper brake for an elevator system used as a holding and safety brake

An elevator system includes first and second elevator cars movable vertically in a first elevator shaft, a closed support belt routed around lower and upper deflection rollers, a drive machine driving the support belt, and an actuable coupling device arranged on each of the first and second elevator cars. The support belt has first and second coupling elements to and from which the coupling devices can be coupled and decoupled whereby a drive connection between the respective elevator car and the support belt can be established and released. A coupled elevator car is moved in the first elevator shaft by the support belt driven by the drive machine. The coupling elements are arranged such that they are not routed around the deflection rollers during movement of the first elevator car from a lower end position to an upper end position or vice versa.

A brake device for an elevator system generates a friction grip on an elevator rail and includes two legs with brake ends. The first leg is connected to a first articulation point of a transmission lever that has, located at a distance in a longitudinal direction from the first articulation point, a second articulation point that is connected to a first pivot of a pressure lever. The second leg is connected to a second pivot of the pressure lever. A third pivot of the pressure lever is connected to an articulation point of an actuating element (crank rod) whereby a longitudinal movement of the actuating element moves the brake device between a braking position with the brake ends spaced apart a minimum distance, and an opened position with the brake ends spaced apart a maximum distance. The actuating element longitudinal movement is predefined by first and second end points.

Parking brake

A caliper brake for elevator systems has at least one, and preferably two, brake calipers. Each brake caliper has at least one brake pad on a respective brake arm pivoted at a fulcrum. The brake caliper can be swiveled at least into a ready position and into a braking position. The brake arm is elastic and preferably embodied at least partly as a leaf spring.

An elevator car has a brake system with braking devices engaging braking webs integrated into guide rails to brake the car. The braking devices include a brake housing, a first brake body movable by contact with the braking web and relative movement between the braking web and the brake housing to clamp the brake web, and a pusher arranged on the brake housing with the braking web arranged between the first brake body and the pusher with a required passage clearance. The pusher can be advanced toward the first brake body and pressed against the braking web to forcibly bring the first brake body into contact with the braking web. A pressing lever pivotally mounted on the brake housing acts to press the pusher against the braking web.

Actuation of a safety brake

An elevator installation braking device is actuated and reset by an electromechanical actuator including an energy store, a retaining device, a resetting device and at least one connecting element for connecting the actuator to the elevator brake. The resetting device retains the connecting element, via the retaining device and counter to the action of the energy store, in a first operating position, corresponding to a standby position of the brake, or guides the actuator back into this position. The energy store acts as required, upon release of the retaining device, on the connecting element to actuate the brake and to bring it into a corresponding engagement position. The resetting device has a recoil-prevention device to relieve recoil forces. The energy store can have a stop buffer to reduce the force impact when the energy store strikes an end position.

Actuator for an elevator brake

In an elevator installation an elevator car is movable along at least two guide rails and the car is equipped with a pair of safety brakes and an actuator for actuating the safety brakes. Each safety brake includes at least one brake eccentric with a cylindrical bearing bore and a brake housing with a bearing axle for mounting the brake eccentric. The bearing axle is arranged in the brake housing together with the brake eccentric to be pivotable or displaceable so that the brake eccentric, which is arranged on the bearing axle, in a first position can be kept at a spacing from a brake web of the guide rail and in a second position can be brought into contact with the brake web.

Safety brake for an elevator installation

An elevator installation includes a car, a counterweight and safeties which are fitted to the car and the counterweight. The car contains an electrically controlled device for actuating and optionally resetting the safety and the counterweight also contains an electrically controlled device with a safety, or the safety of the counterweight is actuated by a slack-line release.

An elevator system includes an elevator car support displaceable in a travel area provided for the travel of the elevator car support, and a first elevator car and a second elevator car, each car adjustably disposed on the elevator car support. A drive unit is further disposed on the elevator car support. A belt is also provided. The first elevator car and the second elevator car are thereby adjustable in opposite directions by the drive unit by the belt relative to the elevator car support.

Elevator system having a double-decker

A testing device includes a receiving unit for electromagnetic signals arranged on a carrier element to be tested to generate test data from received electromagnetic radiation. The test data are evaluated in a processing system in order to determine a deviation of the test data from a nominal state of the carrier element. The testing device is used to test a carrier element of an elevator installation on which the elevator car is suspended.
