A method and apparatus for cancelling an interference in a received signal. The apparatus may include a plurality of receivers and one or more transmitters. The first receiver is configured to process a received signal. The first receiver includes a mixer to down-convert the received signal using a first local oscillator signal having a first frequency. The received signal includes a wanted signal and an unwanted signal. The second receiver is configured to process the received signal and generate an interference reference signal. The second receiver includes a mixer to down-convert the received signal using a second local oscillator signal having a second frequency. The apparatus includes an interference canceller configured to cancel, in a digital domain, at least in part interference caused by non-linear characteristics of the first receive chain in a presence of the unwanted signal from the down-converted received signal by the first receive chain.

Method and apparatus for cancelling interference in a transceiver

A method and apparatus for receiving and processing multiple carriers with multiple antennas. The device includes a plurality of antennas for receiving signals over a plurality of carriers, and a plurality of receive chains connected to each antenna for processing a signal received on each antenna. The signal received on each antenna is split into multiple receive chains for receive processing. The antennas are grouped into a plurality of sub-groups and a signal on a first carrier is received on a first sub-group of antennas and a signal on a second carrier is received on a second sub-group of antennas. A signal on a third carrier may be received on all antennas. Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) on the first and second carriers may be implemented using the first and second sub-group of antennas, respectively, and MIMO on the third carrier may be implemented using all antennas.

Method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving multiple carriers with multiple antennas

Examples provide an adaptation circuit and apparatus, method and computer programs for adapting, fabricating and operating, a radio transceiver, a mobile transceiver, a base station transceiver and storage for computer programs or instructions. The adaptation circuit () is configured to adapt a local oscillator signal in a radio transceiver (). The radio transceiver () comprises a transmission branch () and a reception branch (), which are subject to cross-talk. The reception branch () comprises a local oscillator () configured to generate the local oscillator signal. The adaptation circuit () comprises a control module () configured to determine crosstalk level information between the transmission branch () and the reception branch (), and to adapt the local oscillator signal based on the crosstalk level information.

A transceiver comprises a transmitter configured to generate a test signal and a receiver comprising a measurement circuit configured to receive the test signal from the transmitter and to determine a level of the test signal. A controller is configured to control a variable supply voltage generator to set a supply voltage for the transmitter to a predetermined value and to lower a supply voltage for the receiver until the level of the test signal within the receiver falls below a receiver threshold. A storage element is configured to store the supply voltage corresponding to the receiver threshold as the minimum supply voltage for the receiver.

A push-pull amplifier has an input node and a series connection of two resistors. The series connection comprises a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal. A first resistor of the two resistors is connected between the first terminal and the second terminal. A second resistor is connected between the second and third terminals. The input node is connected to the second terminal. A first controllable current source is connected to the first terminal of the series connection for sourcing a first current to the series connection. A second controllable current source is connected to the third terminal of the series connection for sinking a second current from the series connection. A first transistor and a second transistor are connected in push-pull configuration, wherein a control input of the first transistor is connected to the first terminal of the series connection and a control input of the second transistor is connected to the third terminal of the series connection.
