A system for locking and releasing a shifting position of a shifting element that is hydraulically actuatable by an actuating pressure is provided. The shifting element is arranged coaxially with a transmission shaft. The system includes a stop valve. The stop valve is subjectable to a control pressure that is separate from the actuating pressure of the shifting element. The stop valve is arranged radially inside the shifting element in the transmission housing.

Assembly for blocking and enabling a shifting position of a shifting element

An automatic transmission includes a housing, a plurality of rotatable shafts, a plurality of planetary gear sets and a plurality of shift elements. A second element of a fourth planetary gear set forms a drive shaft, and a second element of a third planetary gear set forms an output shaft. A first element of the fourth planetary gear set forms a third shaft, and a fifth shaft is constantly connected to at least two shift elements of the plurality of shift elements. A third element of the third planetary gear set forms a sixth shaft, and a seventh shaft constantly connects a first element of a second planetary gear set to a third element of the fourth planetary gear set. A second element of the second planetary gear set forms an eighth shaft.

Multistep automatic transmission

A stop valve assembly is provided for the locking and unlocking of at least one hydraulic chamber of a shift element that is applied with operating pressure and is coaxially arranged at a shaft in a transmission housing of an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle. At least one first stop valve for lowering the operating pressure of the shift element and at least one second stop valve for raising the operating pressure of the shift element are provided.

Valve for locking and releasing a hydraulically actuated shifting element

An automatic transmission has a first clutch shaft that constantly connects first and fourth planetary gear sets, a second clutch shaft that constantly connects second and third planetary gear sets, and a third clutch shaft that constantly connects the third and first planetary gear sets. A drive shaft is constantly connected to the fourth planetary gear set; an output shaft is constantly connected to the third planetary gear set. The first planetary gear set is directly connected to two shift elements, the second planetary gear set is directly connected to four shift elements, the third planetary gear set is directly connected to two shift elements, the fourth planetary gear set is directly connected to four shift elements. The drive shaft is directly connected to only one shift element. The output shaft is directly connected to only one shift element. A seventh shift element is directly connected to the drive shaft and the second and fourth planetary gear sets.

Multi-speed automatic transmission

A multi-speed transmission in planetary design for a vehicle having a transmission housing (); a first shaft (), the first shaft () being a drive (An); a second shaft (), the second shaft () being an output (Ab); at least five planetary gear sets (RS, RS, RS, RS, RS); at least seven additional shafts (); and five shift elements (SE, SE, SE, SE, SE). Through actuation of the shift elements, at least nine forward gears (G, G, G, G, G, G, G, G, G) and at least one reverse gear (R) are realized. For the realization of each gear, two of the shift elements are open and at least three of the shift elements (SE, SE, SE, SE, SE) are closed.

Multi-speed transmission in planetary design for a vehicle

A hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission includes a shut-off valve arranged between a first pressure adjusting device and a respective shifting element cylinder of a plurality of shifting elements. In the first shifting position of the shut-off valve, the first pressure adjusting device is hydraulically connected to the respective shifting element cylinder through the shut-off valve. In the second shifting position of the shut-off valve, the shifting element cylinder is sealed by the shut-off valve relative to the first pressure adjusting device. The shut-off valve is an releasable check valve. The releasable check valve includes a check valve and an unblocking device. The unblocking device is actuatable by a control pressure from a second pressure adjusting device.

Hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission

A method and device for actuating a shift element of an automatic transmission having a start-stop function and a pressure medium pump driven by an internal combustion engine. The shifting elements are clutches or brakes that can be actuated by a piston which is actuated for engagement via pressure supplied to a pressure space. The pressure space is depressurized when the engine stops. To enhance start-stop operation, the shifting elements comprise an additional pressure space that acts, in opposition to the pressure space acting in the engaging direction, as a controllable restoring mechanism which can be rendered inactive, if desired. If the engine stops and the automatic start-stop function is activated, the additional pressure spaces, acting in the restoring direction, are depressurized before the pressure drop in the pressure spaces, acting in the engaging direction, of the pistons, but are otherwise permanently pressurized during driving operation.

Method and device for actuating a shift element of an automatic transmission having a start-stop means

A transmission (G) is provided with four planetary gear sets (P, P, P, P), several shafts (W-W) and a first, second, third, fourth and fifth shift element (B, B, K, K, K), the selective meshing of which brings about different transmission ratio relationships between a transmission input shaft (GW) and a transmission output shaft (GW). The second shift element (B) and/or the fifth shift element (K) is arranged, in a series at a sixth shift element (K), in the power flow between the fifth shaft (W) and a sun gear (So-P) of the fourth planetary gear set (P).

Transmission

An automatic transmission includes nine rotatable shafts and four planetary gear sets, each with a first, second and third element. For the shifting of multiple forward gears and one reverse gear, seven shift elements are provided. The second element of the fourth planetary gear set forms the first shaft designed as a drive shaft, the second element of the third planetary gear set forms the second shaft designed as an output shaft, the first element of the fourth planetary gear set forms the third shaft, one element of the planetary gear set forms the fourth shaft, the third element of the third planetary gear set forms the sixth shaft, the second element of the second planetary gear set forms the eighth shaft. The third element of the second planetary gear set and the first element of the third planetary gear set are connected to each other as the fifth shaft. The first element of the second planetary gear set and the third element of the fourth planetary gear set are connected to each other as the seventh shaft. The third shaft can be fixed through the first shift element. The fourth shaft is constantly and directly connected to the second shift element. The first shaft is connectable to the fifth shaft through the third shift element. The ninth shaft is not directly connected to any of the planetary gear sets, is connectable to the sixth shaft through the fourth shift element, is connectable to the seventh shaft through the fifth shift element, is connectable to the eighth shaft through the sixth shift element and is connectable to the first shaft through the seventh shift element.

Multistep-automatic-transmission

A seal for a fluid-fillable vessel of a gearing or motor is provided. The seal includes a first sealing body with a first inside sealing lip, with a first leg protruding from the sealing body, at the distal end of which there is arranged a second outer sealing lip which protrudes from the first leg. Reliable sealing can thus be achieved and apparent leakiness of a fluid vessel can be prevented at the same time.

The valve device comprising a pilot-controlled control valve device () with a valve slide () and, functionally connected with this is, an also pilot-controlled switching valve device () which is also formed with a valve slide (). The valve slides () are arranged to move longitudinally in a common bore () of a valve housing () and are positioned coaxially with one another, and an inner valve slide () is arranged to move longitudinally at least partially within the outer valve slide ().
