A switching device includes a base module equipped with an electromagnetic drive that has a yoke, a coil and an armature arranged movably relative to the yoke, and that has a switching contact that includes a stationary switching piece and a movable switching piece arranged opposite the stationary switching piece, wherein the switching contact is switchable between an 'open' position and a 'closed' position via movement of the armature, where the switching device also includes a modular auxiliary switching unit equipped with a contact system that consists of a stationary switching piece and a movable switching piece arranged opposite the stationary switching piece such that the coupling between the base module and the modular auxiliary switching unit is configured such that different distances in the contact system of the auxiliary switching unit are transferrable during a trigger event via an elastic element regardless of the auxiliary switching unit in use.

A switchgear includes a power supply built into a common housing, and at least two drives. The power supply can be fed by an external supply voltage and an external consumer can be connected to the two drives. In at least one embodiment, the switchgear includes, in the same housing, a built-in overload detection for the two drives and/or a built-in circuit breaker function for the two drives, and/or a built-in control circuit for the common control of the two drives. The switchgear can optionally be completed by a transformer providing an additional function of the targeted charging of a buffer capacitor and/or by an energy accumulator providing an additional function of the targeted discharge thereof by temporarily switching on a connected consumer.

Compact switchgear for an electrical consumer

A magnetic chamber is disclosed for electromagnetic low voltage switchgear, especially a compact reversing starter, including two magnetic drives which are each actuated by a main slide. The magnetic chamber is designed, in at least one embodiment, to receive both magnetic drives of the electromagnetic low voltage switchgear, and a mechanical reversing locking device held in a mobile manner for the alternating mechanical locking of the two magnetic drives is arranged in the magnetic chamber, the mechanical locking device acting on the two main slides. An electromagnetic low voltage switchgear is disclosed, especially a compact reversing starter, including two magnetic drives which are each actuated by a main slide, both magnetic drives being arranged in a magnetic chamber. The mechanical reversing locking device held in a mobile manner, in at least one embodiment, engages with the main slide of one of the magnetic drives, according to the position of the locking device, in order to fix said magnetic drive.

The switching device includes an actuation magnet provided in a magnet chamber and fixed in the magnet chamber by at least one spring element, at least one displaceable switch contact, the at least one displaceable switch contact being displaceable by the actuation magnet and at least one stationary switch contact, the magnet chamber including an assembly opening for inserting or removing a tolerance insert.

At least one embodiment of the invention relates to a switch device particularly a low-voltage switch device, having an actuation magnet chamber by at least one spring element, having at least one displaceable switch contact and at least one stationary switch contact, wherein the at least one displaceable switch contact can be displaced by the actuation magnet, the magnet chamber comprising an assembly opening for inserting or removing a tolerance insert. At least one embodiment of the invention further relates to a method for inserting or removing a tolerance insert in a magnet chamber of such a switch device.

A switching device unit is disclosed for switching at least two operating states of at least one consumer to an at least two-phase electrical supply system by way of switching elements. At least one embodiment of the invention specifies a switching device unit which has as simple a construction as possible and is as cost-effective and compact as possible. For this purpose, the switching device unit contains circuits for operational switching of the consumer, for implementing the tripping function for protection against overload and short circuits, wherein these circuits are integrated in such a way that the switching device unit, in particular in terms of its function as a compact reversing starter, can have a standardized width in order to be installed in a space-saving manner on a top-hat rail in a switchgear cabinet and in order to be operated.

Switching device unit for switiching at least two operating states

An auxiliary contact block is disclosed for expanding a switching device and to a switching device having at least one auxiliary contact block. A compact auxiliary contact block, i.e. a block requiring little wiring and space, for a switching device is disclosed, and a switching device having at least one auxiliary contact block. In at least one embodiment of the auxiliary contact block, the auxiliary contact block includes auxiliary contacts disposed in a plane, the contacts having contact bridges and associated fixed contact pieces, and at least one contact slider, which can be equipped with at least one auxiliary contact pair. The configuration of the auxiliary contacts in a plane as described herein allows a very small installation size and very little wiring complexity of the auxiliary contacts in a simple manner. The actuating unit can, for example, be configured as a slider that couples the contact slider and the switching device with each other.

It is normal practice in automation to network individual components of an installation via bus lines, with this network carrying out a multiplicity of communication and supply tasks during operation. In at least one embodiment, a system interface, as well as an installation which uses this interface, are disclosed with the operational reliability of the installation being improved. In at least one embodiment, a system interface is proposed for connection of a bus line to an actuator assembly in a control system with a K connection for connection of a communication channel and with a K-U connection for connection of a communication voltage supply channel, and an A-U connection for connection of an actuator voltage supply channel.
