A device for applying an even, thin fluid layer, in particular a phosphoric acid layer, onto substrates, in particular silicon cells for photovoltaic application, is provided with a process chamber, which is provided with a fluid pan and a high-frequency ultrasound device that converts the fluid into fluid mist, and with a transport device that is arranged beneath a fluid-mist dropping shaft of the process chamber for the substrates. To create a device of this type, which permits an application of the fluid onto the silicon cells in question that is substantially more homogeneous regarding both surface area and volume, the fluid-mist dropping shaft of the process chamber tapers in its interior cross-section towards the transport device and discharges into a passage shaft arrangement for the substrates that covers the transport device, and the interior cross-section of the orifice end of the fluid-mist dropping shaft and of the passage shaft arrangement are coordinated with each other, preferably being essentially identical.

Device and a method for applying an even, thin fluid layer to substrates

A device for positioning and blocking thin silicon wafers after wire-sawing a silicon wafer block. The device comprises a cassette that accommodates the wafer block and is provided with two contact strips whose sides facing the wafer block encompass elements which engage into narrow cutting gap between the wafers so as to maintain a distance and provide support. This allows the wafers to be fixed in the position thereof even after removing a supporting glass plate such that particularly the gap in the area of the former connecting point to the removed supporting glass plate is maintained and the subsequent singulation process is simplified.

Device and method for positioning and blocking thin substrates on a cut substrate block

A compact device for clamping a disc-shaped tool on a tool spindle of a portable machine tool with a clamping anchor arranged in the tool spindle, with a clamping flange attachable to the free end of the clamping anchor, with an abutment arranged at the tool end of the tool spindle and with a manual actuating mechanism for releasably pressing the clamping flange against the abutment, thereby clamping the tool between the clamping anchor and the tool spindle. The manual actuating mechanism includes a first pressure cylinder having a first cavity and a second pressure cylinder having a second cavity, and a connecting channel between the cavities. The second pressure cylinder includes a piston delimiting the second cavity. The piston is adjustable and fixable by the manual actuating mechanism from the tool end of the tool spindle for releasably clamping the tool on the tool spindle.

Device for clamping a disc-shaped tool

A mechanism for mounting a sanding disk to the spindle of a portable right-angled grinder that will allow the connection to be released without extra tools. The mechanism consists essentially of a hollow spindle (18), of a tensioning anchor (22) that is accommodated inside the spindle (18) such that it can slide back and forth axially subject to an activating mechanism (54) but cannot rotate, and of two flanges that accommodate the sanding disk (28) between them, one of which, a mating flange that constitutes a support (20), is rigidly secured to the spindle, and the other of which, the tensioning flange (26), is loosely secured to the tensioning anchor (22). Between mutually facing demarcating surfaces (34 & 36) of the tensioning anchor (22) and the spindle (18) is a space (39) that communicates with another space (44) in the tensioning anchor (22). The spaces (39 & 44) are full of a plastic material (40) that can transmit force hydraulically. A piston ( 46) is accommodated in the second space (44), slides back and forth subject to the activating mechanism (54), forcing the plastic material out and creating tensioning force in the space (39), and can be secured in the tensioning position.

A device for attaching a tool in portable angled grinders, allowing the connection to be released without special accessories. The device consists essentially of a hollow driveshaft, of a spindle that slides inside it, and of a tool-securing point consisting of a mating flange and nut. The nut is loosened by activating the displacing mechanism, which displaces the spindle toward the tool-securing point, lifting the nut, which is connected to the spindle by means of a threaded pin, off of the tool. The nut can then be screwed off by hand.

An arrangement for separating and transporting uppermost sheets of a stack of sheets or sheet-like objects has a movable suction mouthpiece in which negative pressure acting for adhering the sheet simultaneously controls the movement of the suction mouthpiece in a longitudinal direction in a guide, the movable suction mouthpiece is connected with a valveless pump which produces in a connecting conduit between the suction mouthpiece and the pump periodically alternating negative pressure and positive pressure phases, and the guide of the movable suction piece is arranged so that a movement direction provided by the guide is inclined relative to the direction of the force of gravity at such an angle that the resultant of a lifting movement of the sheet produced during the lower pressure phase of the movable suction mouthpiece and the falling movement produced during the positive pressure phase has a component acting in a desired transporting direction of the sheet.
