A mechanism for the door of a domestic electrical appliance, for example a dishwasher, is described. The mechanism includes a door latch for holding the door closed, a latch opener mechanism, an electrically controlled actuator for displacing the latch opener mechanism, a movably arranged pusher, and a spring device for providing a spring force which acts on the pusher. The latch opener mechanism functions such that, when the door is closed, it can be transferred from an inactive position into an active position while at least partially overcoming a holding-closed action of the door latch. The movably arranged pusher is separate from the latch opener mechanism and is decoupled therefrom in terms of movement. After the holding-closed action of the door latch has been overcome, the spring drive allows the door to be pushed open by the pusher.

Domestic appliance with a latching and opening function for a door of the domestic appliance

A device for selectively providing crushed or uncrushed ice includes a storage receptacle for storing uncrushed ice pieces, and a grinder, which is fed with ice pieces from the storage receptacle, for crushing the ice pieces. The grinder is concealed behind an end wall which is arranged on a side of the grinder that is opposite the storage receptacle. A mechanical switching element is associated with the grinder and can be switched between two working positions. In its first working position, ice pieces received from the storage receptacle are necessarily introduced into the operating range of the grinder and in its second working position a bypass passage is freed for ice pieces received from the storage receptacle past the grinder. The device also includes a movable adjusting element in mechanical adjusting connection with the switching element.

An ice maker for mounting into a household cooling appliance, comprising: a storage container for ice comprising a rear wall and an opening, which is accessible from the top, a coupling extension, which is arranged on the rear wall and extends towards the rear, a driving unit comprising a drive housing and a closing aid arranged in the drive housing for locking of the storage container in a closed end position, wherein the drive housing comprises a front wall, at which an insertion opening of the closing aid is arranged so that upon inserting of the coupling extension into the insertion opening the coupling extension couples with the closing aid and by the closing aid viewed in the depth direction of the ice maker said coupling extension is pulled into the locking position towards the rear.

Ice maker with specific coupling of a driving unit with a storage container, and household cooling appliance

An ice maker for installation in a household refrigeration apparatus includes a housing with an opening, a storing bowl for ice, wherein the storing bowl is formed with an opening, which is accessible from the top. The storing bowl can be inserted into the housing through the opening of the housing and the storing bowl is arranged in a final position at the housing in the inserted state. A position identifier captures the position of the storing bowl, wherein the position identifier includes a capturing sensor. A control electronic, which is arranged in a front area in depth direction of the ice maker, includes a circuit board. The capturing sensor is arranged on the circuit board.

Ice maker with specific position identifier, and household refrigeration apparatus

A cooling or freezing device includes an ice-making tray having a plurality of ice-piece-producing cavities distributed over at least two rows of cavities running parallel to one another. The device further includes a cold air supply system which provides a cold air stream which flows beneath the ice-making tray along the rows of cavities. There is additionally provided a temperature sensor unit which is inserted into a gap formed on the underside of the tray between a pair of adjacent ice-piece-producing cavities. The pair of cavities is formed by two ice-piece-producing cavities which, as seen in the direction of flow of the cold air stream, are the last ice-piece-producing cavities of two adjacent rows of cavities.

Cooling or freezing device having an ice maker with a temperature sensor

An ice maker for fitting into a door of a cooling or freezing device includes an ice-making tray which is arranged to be rotatable about an axis of rotation, has a plurality of ice-piece-making cavities and a side wall arrangement which extends upwards beyond the ice-piece-making cavities and runs along the periphery of the tray. The ice maker further includes a drive unit for driving the ice-making tray in rotation about the axis of rotation. At least one slot is formed in the side wall arrangement and passes through the side wall arrangement over its entire wall thickness. Alternatively or in addition, at least a portion of the side wall arrangement is made of a different material than a bottom tray part on which the ice-piece-making cavities are formed. Both measures improve the twistability of the ice-making tray for breaking frozen ice pieces away from the tray.

A device for comminuting ice is particularly suited for a household refrigeration appliance. The device has a rotary shaft, a first cutter unit with at least one fixed blade, and a second cutter unit with at least one moveable blade which is attached to the rotary shaft and can be rotated in a rotational direction. The fixed blade has a comminuting section and a pre-comminuting section which is arranged upstream of the comminuting section counter to the rotational direction.

An ice-making assembly for installation in a domestic refrigerator or freezer is provided. The ice-making assembly comprises: a frame structure; and first and second ice-making trays supported for rotation about a rotational axis with respect to the frame structure between an ice production position and an ice discharge position, wherein the first and second ice-making trays are disposed behind one another in a direction of the rotational axis and each have a tray longitudinal dimension in the direction of the rotational axis that is larger than a tray width direction in a direction transverse to the rotational axis.

A refrigeration device has an ice maker with an ice cube container in which a conveying device for conveying the ice cubes is disposed. The conveying device is connected by way of a coupling to a drive of the ice maker for transmitting drive forces. The coupling is configured to transfer the drive forces of the drive to transform them partially into forces that are oriented towards the drive.

Refrigeration device comprising an ice maker with a coupling

An ice dispensing arrangement is particularly suited for a household refrigeration appliance. A flap can rotate between a first and a second distribution position. A motor actuates the flap via a transfer device. The transfer device has a rotating transfer element and a flap actuating device. The rotating transfer element is rotated between a first and a second position, in order to rotate the flap, by way of the flap actuation device, between the first and second distribution positions. The rotating transfer element is coupled to the flap actuation device so that the flap, in the first position of the rotating transfer element, is arranged in the first distribution position and, in the second position of the rotating transfer element, the flap is arranged in the second distribution position. A blocking device maintains the flap in the first distribution position.

Ice dispensing arrangement

An ice dispensing arrangement, particularly for a household refrigeration appliance, has a flap that is rotatable between a first and a second distribution position and a motor which actuates the flap via a transfer device. The transfer device has a rotational disk to be connected to a motor shaft, a piston rod and a rotating transfer element. The latter is rotatable a first and second position such that the flap in the first position of the rotating transfer element, is in the first distribution position and in the second position of the rotating transfer element, the flap is in the second distribution position. The rotating transfer element has a coupling element. The piston rod couples a motor shaft-eccentric point of the rotating disk to the coupling element of the rotating transfer element to rotate the transfer element between the first and second positions.

A door latch for an electrical household appliance includes a closing spring arrangement which is tensioned in an open position of the door latch and relaxes upon closing of the door, and a gripping unit which grips a closing element upon closing of the door and releases it again upon opening of the door. The gripping unit in the open position of the door latch is in blocking engagement with a blocking element. The closing element upon the closing of the door causes a rotary movement of the gripping unit about an axis of rotation where the gripping unit comes out of blocking engagement with the blocking element. The gripping unit has a base body bearing at least one supporting projection, projecting coaxially with respect to the axis of rotation, for supporting the gripping unit.

Door latch for an electrical household appliance

A door-closing device for a domestic electrical appliance comprises a frame with an aperture for the introduction of a keeper. A closing unit is arranged on the frame such that when in a closing position, the closing unit holds the keeper for the purposed of keeping the door closed and, in an open position, releases said keeper for the purposed of opening the door, said closing unit, in the course of its transfer from the open position into the closing position, draws the keeper along with it. A closing spring arrangement acts upon the closing unit to draw the keeper along with said unit. A blocking element that is movable relative to the frame to block and unblock the movement of the closing unit.
