The invention relates to an assembly for esthetically designing an airbag cover () comprising an annular decoration element () for arrangement on a front side () of a front wall () of the airbag cover (), the decoration element () including at least one securing pin () adapted to penetrate the front wall (). The invention excels by a retaining plate () for being attached to a back side () of the front wall (), wherein the retaining plate () has at least one clip connector () adapted to be engaged with the securing pin () such that the decoration element () and the retaining plate () are permanently connected to each other. Furthermore the invention relates to an airbag cover, an airbag module, a vehicle steering wheel and a manufacturing method.
