This invention provides styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene triblock copolymer-oil compositions which are temperature resistant and nonmeltable. They have a viscosity at 200.degree. C. of at least 200 poise. The compositions can be molded under pressure at elevated temperatures.

Heat resistant gel compositions

This invention provides cable sealing apparatus comprising styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene triblock copolymer-oil compositions which are temperature resistant and nonmeltable. They have a viscosity at 200.degree. C. of at least 200 poise. The compositions can be molded under pressure at elevated temperatures.

Cable sealing apparatus comprising heat resistant gel compositions

This invention comprises to styrene-diene block copolymer-oil-coupling agent compositions which are radiation cross-linked. In another aspect this invention relates to similar composition wherein the styrene-diene block copolymer is a blend of two different poly(styrene-ethylenebutylene-styrene) triblock copolymers, which composition may also be radiation cross-linked.

Styrene-diene block copolymer compositions

A closure which includes a casing and an insulation displacement connector. The casing includes first and second fixed-sized passageways with an insulation placement connector disposed within each of the passageways. The connector includes a pair of spaced-apart walls each having at least one slot therein for receiving a wire. The slots in each pair of spaced-apart walls are laterally offset from one another.

Drop-wire closure having a high axial strength

A closure includes pivoted cams which partially define variable-sized passageways. Each of the variable-sized passageways is suitably configured for receiving a cable. The cams pivot and decrease the size of the passageways in response to pull-out forces exerted on the cables located within the passageways.

Drop-wire closure having first and second cams

A heat-shrinkable article comprising (1) a heat-shrinkable layer of polymeric material, (2) a laminar heater which comprises a conductive polymer layer sandwiched between apertured metal electrodes and which is secured to the inner surface of the layer, and (3) a member which is secured to the inside of the heater and which protects a substrate from damage caused by the heater when the layer shrinks. The protective member (3) has a first shape before the layer shrinks and a second shape after the layer shrinks. The member possesses sufficient strength to resist piercing by the electrodes when the layer shrinks. Such articles are particularly useful for enclosing splices in telephone cables.
