There is disclosed a system adapted to transport two fluids and a gas comprising a nozzle comprising a first nozzle portion comprising the first fluid and the gas, and a second nozzle portion comprising the second fluid, wherein the second nozzle portion has a larger diameter than and is about the first nozzle portion; and a tubular fluidly connected to and downstream of the nozzle, the tubular comprising the first fluid and the gas in a core, and the second fluid about the core.

Pipes, systems, and methods for transporting fluids

A slug flow separator facilitates the separation of a mixture flow into component parts. The separator includes an upper-tier elongate conduit, a lower-tier elongate conduit and a plurality of spaced apart connectors. Each of the upper and lower-tier elongate conduits has an outlet and at least one of the upper and lower-tier elongate conduits has an inlet for receiving the mixture flow. The upper and lower-tier elongate conduits also each have a plurality of openings such that one connector of the plurality of connectors may interconnect one of the upper-tier elongate conduit openings with a one of the lower-tier elongate conduit openings. The connectors enable communication of at least one of a liquid component and the at least one of another liquid component and a gas component of the mixture flow therebetween.

Method and apparatus for a cold flow subsea hydrocarbon production system

Coatings are loosened for removal from various substrates by rotating a chain-like flail against the coating while maintaining the flail oriented and positioned with respect to the surface of the coating so that the next-to-last terminal link of the flail barely strikes the coating on the edge of the link, twists and then whips the terminal link flat against the coating on the side of the link. The flail is useful for remote controlled operations as underwater or in a hazardous area as high radiation environment and may be employed for cleaning any underwater surface such as conduits, ships hulls, docks, and offshore drilling or production structures. In particular, the flail works well on underwater conduits when used in combination with a wire wheel brush which removes the coating from the conduit after the coating is first loosened by the flail.
