A wellhead system includes a wellhead including a position sensor disposed in an inner surface of the wellhead, and a wellhead component to be installed in the wellhead, the wellhead component including a position indicator disposed in an outer surface of the wellhead component, wherein the position sensor is configured to transmit a position signal in response to the wellhead component entering into a predetermined aligned position in the wellhead.

A control line assembly for coupling with a tubing or casing hanger of a wellhead assembly includes a support ring configured to couple with the tubing or casing hanger, and a tubular member configured to extend through a first bore disposed in the support ring, wherein a first end of the tubular member is configured to be stabbed into a passage disposed in a wellhead component of the wellhead assembly, and a second end of the tubular member is configured to be stabbed into a first receptacle disposed in the tubing or casing hanger, wherein, when the control line assembly is coupled with the tubing or casing hanger and the wellhead component is landed over the tubing or casing hanger, a passage disposed in the tubular member is configured to provide communication between the passage of the wellhead component and the first receptacle of the tubing or casing hanger.

Running tool and control line systems and methods

A system that includes a wellhead. The wellhead defines a bore. A hanger system is positioned within the wellhead. The hanger system includes a piston angled relative to a longitudinal axis of the bore. A first spring biases the piston in a first direction. The piston contacts a slip segment to couple the slip segment to a casing string.

Hanger system

A tubing or casing hanger seal assembly is disclosed including an actuation sleeve to be mounted on a tubing hanger, a shoulder member to be mounted on the tubing hanger, and a seal assembly disposed between the actuation sleeve and the shoulder member. The seal assembly includes a first set or pair of seals engaged at a tapered interface, and a second set or pair of seals engaged at a tapered interface. Radial sectional areas can differ between seals of the seal pairs. Further, the first set of seals can be coupled to the second set of seals such that the first and second sets of seals are energized by the same setting motion of the actuation sleeve.

Hanger seal assembly

A casing hanger assembly is provided. In one embodiment, a system includes a casing hanger and a landing shoulder for receiving the casing hanger and supporting the casing hanger within a wellhead. The casing hanger and the landing shoulder have complementary features that cooperate to inhibit rotation of the casing hanger with respect to the landing shoulder. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.
