Porous protein particles as carriers for actives

Described herein, are in-wash fabric conditioning compositions, comprising: from about 0.5 to about 40 wt % of an aminopolysiloxane; and water, wherein the aminopolysiloxane and water are present in the form of an emulsion. In-wash fabric conditioning compositions comprising an emulsion comprising from about 0.1 to about 5 wt % of an aminopolysiloxane, based upon the total weight of the in-wash fabric conditioning composition, wherein the aminopolysiloxane comprises amino substituted alkyl moieties, an effective amount of a solvent, and a synthetic wax, are also disclosed. Methods of making and using these compositions are also described.

Fabric conditioners

Described herein, are rinse-free laundry care compositions comprising: a surfactant scavenger; an acrylate thickening agent; and a non-ionic surfactant; wherein the non-ionic surfactant and surfactant scavenger are present in a weight ratio of from about 5:1 to about 30:1. Methods of making and using these compositions are also described.

Home care compositions

A fabric conditioner composition comprising: a cationic fabric softener, and 0.02 to 0.32% by weight of an amino-functional, epoxide group containing silicone polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 400,000 to 900,000 is described. Also, a method of reducing wrinkles on fabric during laundering comprising laundering the fabric with a composition comprising 0.02 to 0.32% by weight of an amino-functional, epoxide group containing silicone polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 400,000 to 900,000 is described. The polymer is unexpectedly effective at low levels of use.

Fabric wrinkle reduction composition

A laundry additive composition comprising a) at least one oxylated material chosen from polyoxyalkylene, a polyoxyalkylene fatty acid ester, and a polyoxyalkylene fatty alcohol ether; b) a polyol; c) a coloring agent; and d) at least one additive chosen from fragrance and a fabric treatment material. The composition can deliver the additive to clothing during washing or rinsing of the clothes, such as to impart a fragrance to clothing.

Laundry additive

Described herein are fabric softening compositions comprising a quaternary ammonium compound, an edible-type tallow, isopropyl alcohol, and a plasticizer comprising an iso-methyl group. Methods of making and using the fabric softening compositions are also described herein.

Fabric softening compositions

A fabric conditioner composition comprising an amino-functional, epoxide group containing silicone polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 400,000 to 900,000 a branched amine functional silicone. The branched amine functional silicone can be of structure RSiO(RSi((CH2)aR')O)(RSi(OR&#x2033;))(RSiO)SiR. The combination of the amino-functional, epoxide group containing silicone polymer and amine functional silicone can to reduce time needed for drying fabric, reducing color fading of fabric during laundering, reducing pilling of fabric, and reducing force needed to iron fabric. 

Fabric conditioner

A method for reducing force needed for ironing a fabric comprising laundering the fabric with a composition comprising a linear polyether having a weight average molecular weight less than 5000 that is terminated with &#x2014;N&#x2014;(&#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;Cl), wherein the linear polyether is deposited on the fabric and reduces the force needed for ironing.

Method for ease of ironing

 A fabric conditioner composition comprising a branched amine functional silicone, such as an amine functional silicone of structure: The branched amine functional silicone can reduce the time needed for drying fabric and reduce the amount of foam generated during laundering to reduce the amount of water needed for rinsing.
