The invention relates to a peptide comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or a variant thereof capable of inhibiting IL13/IL13R&#x3b1;2 signalling. The invention also relates to a fusion protein, nanoparticle, virus-like particle and pharmaceutical composition comprising said peptide, and to their use for treating a cancer characterized by having increased expression of IL13R&#x3b1;2, or for treating asthma, atopic dermatitis or fibrosis, or for preventing the metastatic progression of a cancer characterized by having increased expression of IL13R&#x3b1;2.

IL13R&#x3b1;2 peptide and its uses
