A vehicle lamp that incorporates means for protection against electrostatic discharges. Sn an embodiment, the vehicle Samp includes a metalized part that is made from synthetic polymer and that is metalized at least on one side of it. The vehicle lamp further includes a metalized retaining clip integral with the metalized part, and a grounding cable electrically connecting the metalized part to the ground via the metalized retaining clip. A first end of the grounding cable is fixed to a locking end of the metalized retaining clip and a second end of the grounding cable is connected to the ground to ensure a proper connection between the metalized part and the ground.

Vehicle lamp incorporating means for protection against electrostatic discharges

An IMS printed circuit board comprises a card edge connector with a first face and a second face, the second face being in electric contact with the metallic core and the card edge connector comprising a plurality of signal traces. At least one of the signal traces is a ground trace which is in electrical connection with a ground connection of the printed circuit board and is intended to be connected to a ground pin comprised in a card edge connector socket. The IMS printed circuit board also provides a card edge connector socket with a plurality of pins, one of the pins being a ground pin and being configured to receive the ground trace of the printed circuit board. An electronic assembly comprises the printed circuit board and the card edge connector socket and a lighting device are also provided.

The invention is related to an electronic assembly comprising a printed circuit board and an electronic component. The printed circuit board comprises a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The electronic component is installed in the first side of the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is an insulated metal substrate printed circuit board and comprises a bending portion which divides the printed circuit board into a first main portion and a second main portion, the electronic component being located in the first main portion. The first and second main portions are not comprised in a common plane.

A lighting module for an automotive vehicle. The module comprises a support, for example made by a heat dissipation device, and a printed circuit board accommodating at least one light source of a first type. The printed circuit board is housed on the support. The lighting module proposes allowing light sources of a second type, generating, for example, a different amount of heat, to be housed so that the rays arising from the two types of sources may be coupled into one and the same light guide, while efficiently dissipating the heat generated by each of the types of light sources.

The invention provides an electrical connection module for an automotive vehicle. The module includes a printed circuit board, PCB, and a connector for connecting a wire harness to said PCB. An edge of the PCB can be inserted into the connector. The module provides retention mechanism that is integral to the PCB. The retention mechanism is shaped and configured to retain the edge connector, if the PCB is seated therein.
