A disc brake includes a brake caliper, in which two brake pads can be pressed against a brake disc when in operation. A brake pad on the action side is actuatable via a brake plunger of a brake application device. The brake plunger is led through an opening of a closure cover that closes a receiving chamber of the brake caliper. A bellows rests against the brake plunger and, on the other side, against the closure cover to seal the receiving chamber. A secondary seal is retained on the closure cover, which secondary seal is arranged concentrically to the bellows and rests against the brake plunger. The secondary seal is configured to rest slidingly against the brake plunger.

Disc brake

A brake pad for a disc brake, which can be installed into a wheel that has a size of 22.5&#x2033;, includes a ring segment-shaped pad support plate which supports a friction lining material, an inner radius Ri of which merges with straight bearing surfaces on both sides, and which has two molded-on pressure pieces that are arranged in a mutually spaced manner on the pad support plate rear face that faces away from the friction lining material. The brake pad is designed such that the length of the pad support plate is 245-250 mm, the inner radius is 115-135 mm, and the outer radius of the pad support plate is 205-220 mm.

Brake pad for a disc brake

A pneumatic or electromagnetically actuated disc brake includes a caliper spanning a brake disc, a brake application unit disposed in the caliper and having a brake lever, at least one actuating spindle axially displaceable by the rotary lever, and a wear adjustor actuated by the brake lever and positioned in the brake caliper, by which a wear-induced change in an air gap between a brake pad and the brake disc can be substantially compensated for by way of an axial adjustment of the actuating spindle. The wear adjustor includes a spur gear segment extending in the pivot direction and disposed on the lever and engaging with a crown gear operationally connected to the actuating spindle for adjusting.

Pneumatically or electromechanically actuated disc brake

A pneumatically or electromechanically actuatable disc brake as a wear adjustment adjustment device, which is positioned in a caliper, and is actuatable by a brake lever, includes a central drive element. A brake pad for a disc brake, in particular for a utility or commercial vehicle, including a pad retaining spring which is designed as an arc-shaped leaf spring, can deflect radially and is fastened by way of a hood to a lining carrier plate which supports a friction lining material. The hood is formed as a separate component and has a section which is U-shaped in cross-section. A web of the hood connects its limbs which limbs are guided in parallel and at both sides of the lining carrier plate. The web bears against the pad retaining spring. The pad retaining spring is designed such that an opening is formed through which a limb of the hood is guided.
