An insulated building structure, in particular an insulated roof structure or a wall structure of a building, comprises at least one thermal insulation layer. At least one moisture-variable protective layer for the thermal insulation layer is provided on an outer side of the thermal insulation layer and on an inner side of the thermal insulation layer facing a building interior of the building. The protective layers each have a water vapor diffusion equivalent air layer thickness S. The water vapor diffusion equivalent air layer thicknesses Sof the two protective layers deviate from each other by less than 20%, preferably less than 10%, in the range of a relative humidity from 0% to 25% and/or in the range of a relative humidity from 80% to 100%.

The invention relates to a system () for conducting lightning currents and/or fault currents away from a roof area () and/or fa&#xe7;ade area of a building () to the ground (). According to the invention, the system is equipped with at least one strip (), which is laid in the roof area () and/or fa&#xe7;ade area of the building () and at least one potential compensation system for the building (). The strip () comprises at least one electrically conductive layer for shielding electromagnetic radiation and the strip () is connected to the potential compensation system in such a way that lightning currents and/or fault currents can be conducted away via the strip () and the building potential to the ground (). By linking the strip () to the potential compensation system of the building (), lightning currents and/or fault currents, which occur for example when an electric installation malfunctions, can be conducted away in a targeted manner, thus eliminating any risk to persons in the roof area () and/or fa&#xe7;ade area of the building ().

A reflective layer for attenuating electromagnetic radiation, the layer comprising at least one reflective component, the latter being selected from the group containing the following substances: carbon particles or fibers, in particular carbon black and/or graphite and/or an electrically conductive graphite compound, metal particles and/or fibers, in particular copper, aluminum, steel, titanium and/or iron particles of fiber and metal alloy particles. The reflective layer is characterized in that it attenuates electromagnetic radiation in a 200Hz to 10 Ghz range by more than 10Db, that it is watertight and permeable to water vapor, in addition to being resistant to the elements and designed to produce a potential compensation. The invention also relates to a method for assembling the reflective layer.
