The present disclosure relates to automated chatbot generation for different domains from available human-to-human chat logs. The systems and methods may be configured to cluster user utterances as well as agent utterances from the human chat logs. A data miner mines intents and entities from the user utterance clustering and mines actions from agent utterances. The intents, entities and actions mined are used to generate a set of stories or flows which are further used by a machine learning engine to train the chatbot. The stories or flows are also generated automatically by mapping the intents with the actions.

Channel assignment for wireless access networks is directed toward improved overall communication capability of the networks. A network is formed of wireless access points (APs) coupled via wired (and/or wireless) links and enabled to communicate with clients via radio channels of each of the APs. Local information is collected at each of the APs and processed to determine channel assignments according to a Neighbor Impact Metric (NIM) that accounts for one-hop and two-hop neighbors as well as neighbors not part of the network. Optionally, the NIM accounts for traffic load on the APs. The channel assignments are determined either on a centralized resource (such as a server or one of the APs) or via a distributed scheme across the APs. The local information includes how busy a channel is and local operating conditions such as error rate and interference levels.

Channel assignment for wireless access networks

Enhanced mesh network performance is provided by computation of a path metric with respect to multi-hop paths between nodes in a mesh network and determination of a path through the mesh network that is optimal according to the path metric. Information is communicated in the mesh network according to the determined path. Nodes in the mesh network are enabled to communicate via one or more wireless links and/or one or more wired links. The path metric optionally includes an effective bandwidth path metric having elements (listed from highest to lowest conceptual priority) including an inverse of a sustainable data rate, a number of wireless links, and a number of wireless and wired links. The sustainable data rate is a measure of communication bandwidth that is deliverable by a path for a period of time. Accounting is made for interference between contiguous wireless links operating on the same channel.

Effective bandwidth path metric and path computation method for wireless mesh networks with wired links

A method of automated inquiry response includes forming clusters that represent a meaning. The method includes assigning a level of sophistication to the clusters and generating sub-clusters within the clusters that represent a sentiment or a level of sophistication. The method includes assigning responses to the sub-clusters that address the meaning of the cluster and are modified based on the sentiment or a level of sophistication. The method includes computing a substantive issue, a sentiment, and a level of sophistication of a received inquiry. The method includes identifying clusters to which the inquiry pertains and generating an order of the identified clusters based on the assigned level of sophistication. The method includes crowdsourcing a comparison of the substantive issue of the inquiry to meanings of the identified clusters. The method includes offering a response associated with one of the identified clusters and with the sub-cluster for the identified sentiment.

Automated inquiry response systems

Examples of employee concierge are provided. In an example, an issue may be determined for an employee. The issue may be determined based on a query shared by the employee or upon occurrence of an unusual event. The unusual event may be indicative of a deviation in behaviour and routine of the employee. A session may be initiated and the issue may be parsed to determine a context. A bot may be selected from multiple bots for the issue where each bot includes information relating to a solution to address the issue. Data associated with the issue may be collected from a central database and other bots. The data may then be analyzed to determine a solution. The solution comprises a response to the query and a suggestion to mitigate the unusual event.

Employee concierge

A method may include receiving peer data describing a set of peer clients associated with a demand response application server and describing how the peer clients communicate with one another. The peer data may be configured so that a subset of the peer clients directly communicate with the demand response application server and the demand response application server does not directly communicate with each of the peer clients. The method may also include receiving announcement data describing an event specified by the demand response application server and determining event response data responsive to the announcement data. The method may also include identifying, from the set of peer clients specified by the demand response application server, a set of recipient peer clients to receive the event response data.

Demand response event dissemination system and method

A method may include obtaining multiple search paths, each search path including a previous search query and multiple search materials. The method may include generating multiple relevancy scores corresponding to the search paths. The method may include obtaining a current search query of a new search. The method may include identifying one or more previous search queries that match the current search query. The method may include identifying a first search path and a second search path based on the first search path and the second search path corresponding to the matching previous search queries. The method may include comparing a first relevancy score of the first search path with a second relevancy score of the second search path. The method may include presenting the search materials of the first search path in response to the first relevancy score being greater than the second relevancy score.

Crowdsourced search result generation

A method of generating a report for a digital task is provided. The method may include receiving an identification of a digital task initiated by a user, and electronically monitoring at least one of user interaction with at least one application while the user performs the digital task via an electronic system and a state of the electronic system while the user performs the digital task via the electronic system. Further, the method may include capturing a plurality of snapshots for the digital task. Each snapshot of the plurality of snapshots may include information for at least of one or more user actions and the state of the electronic system while the user performs the digital task. The method may also include generating a report for the digital task including the plurality of snapshots.

Methods and systems for mobility of mobile nodes in mesh networks are taught wherein the mobile mesh nodes choose an attachment point to another mesh node based on predetermined criteria, such as the characteristics of the attachment point's path to a reference destination, and other factors local to the attachment point, such as load and available capacity. The mobile nodes forward packets on each other's behalf. Static and mobile nodes and the links between them are treated differently from each other in view of their respectively different properties. A special metric is used for paths that include mobile links in addition to the static mesh links and wired mesh links. Mobility is handled completely transparently to any client devices attached to the mesh nodes, where this attachment could be wireless or wired.

A method to prioritize email such that a number of interruptions experienced by a user is reduced may include obtaining a threshold cognitive load of a user and a threshold importance; in response to receiving an email in an inbox of the user, determining an importance of the received email; comparing the importance thereof with the threshold importance; and based on the importance thereof not satisfying the threshold importance, determining a priority thereof with respect to emails in the inbox. The method includes determining a cognitive cost of the received email and that the user is handling a first group of emails, and comparing the priority of the received email with a priority of emails of the first group of emails; obtaining a current cognitive load of the user; and identifying a second group of emails; and presenting the second group of emails to the user.

Electronic message management based on cognitive load

Wireless mesh networks (or 'meshes') are enabled for arbitrary interconnection to each other and may provide varying levels of coverage and redundancy as desired. Interoperability between meshes having differing configurations, internal operations, or both, may be freely intermixed and inter-operated in unrestricted combination. Enhanced explicit inter-bridge control protocols operate using pre-existing control packets. Pre-existing broadcast packet floods are used to learn the best paths across interconnected meshes (termed a 'multi-mesh'). Enhanced routing protocols operating within each mesh may optionally examine information limited to the respective mesh when forwarding traffic, thus enabling robust multi-mesh scaling with respect to memory and processing time required by the routing protocols. Using assigned identifiers, forwarding loops are prevented, and optionally redundant broadcast flooding is prevented.

Techniques for enabling the efficient operation of arbitrarily interconnected mesh networks

A device may include a wireless communication interface configured to communicate with a sensor reading device, receive a wake up command from the sensor reading device, and receive reflected energy from a sensor. The device may also include one or more processors, and one or more non-transitory computer readable media including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, perform or control performance of operations. The operations may include performing a wake up operation based on the wake up command from the sensor reading device, and recording the reflected energy from the sensor. The operations may further include generating a report regarding the reflected energy, and causing the wireless communication interface to transmit the report to the sensor reading device.
