The invention relates to a connector for RF lines for contacting the outer conductor () of the RF line () by means of an insulation displacement connector having at least one pair of opposite cutting edges (), with the cutting edges () being arranged opposite each other in staggered manner in the longitudinal axial direction of the outer conductor ().

RF connector with cutting edges

A plug socket for relays has contact chambers that comprise plug slots open toward an upper base member side for the acceptance of flat plugs and into which plug jacks are inserted proceeding from the underside. These plug jacks have catch tongues branched off at both sides for latching in catch channels of the contact chambers. The contact chambers with the inserted plug jacks are narrower than the plug slots and are offset in alternation toward the ends of the plug slots. The oppositely applied catch channels are thus offset relative to one another in the partitions. In this way, more standard contact jacks can be accommodated in standardized contact chambers in the same space than present aligning arrangement of the contact chambers.

Relay socket

An RF plug connection system includes a contact part which can preferably be crimped to an RF conductor in an RF cable, an insulating part that holds the contact part, at least one insulation-piercing terminal contact holder which can be disposed on the RF cable and an intermediate housing which holds and preferably guides the insulation-piercing terminal contact holder. The insulation-piercing terminal contact holder has at least one blade which makes contact with an outer conductor of the RF cable when the insulation-piercing terminal contact holder is pressed against the RF cable. An outer housing is fitted over the intermediate housing. A method for assembling the RF plug connection system includes stripping insulation from an RF conductor of an RF cable, preferably crimping an exposed conductor to a contact part, inserting the contact part into an insulating part in an intermediate housing, placing the insulation-piercing terminal contact holder on the RF cable, applying pressure to the insulation-piercing terminal contact holder so that its blade cuts through the insulation of the RF cable and makes contact with the outer conductor, and fitting a preferably two-part outer housing.

RF plug connection system and method for assembling the RF plug

The one-piece contact spring has two spring arms, bent back inwardly in a box-shaped contact part. The spring arms are supported on a support which helps relieve the bend. The support is recessed into the box interior from the forward end of the bend by approximately two to five times the thickness of the bottom or top wall, respectively. A preferred embodiment of the one-piece contact spring has spring arms supported by support arms stamped and bent out from the bottom wall and the top wall.

One-piece contact spring

A contact spring for an electrical bush contact includes bottom and top springs. The bottom spring has a boxlike housing as a spring arm base with two wide sides, two narrow sides and two opposite ends. The bottom spring has a connection part integrally adjoining one of the ends of the spring arm base, at least two independent resilient contact tongues disposed on each of the wide sides of the bottom spring at the other of the ends of the spring arm base, the contact tongues being angled relative to one another for defining an insertion funnel and touching one another in a position of repose, and additional side tongues disposed on each of the narrow sides of the bottom spring. The top spring is form-lockingly held on the bottom spring and encloses and fits over the spring arm base and the contact tongues of the bottom spring boxlike on four sides. The top spring has wide and narrow sides, spring buckles disposed on the wide sides of the top spring for urging the contact tongues of the bottom spring toward one another and spring buckles disposed on the narrow sides of the top spring and associated with the side tongues.

Contact spring

A plug connector has a housing of insulating material with at least one row of contact chambers into which contact elements can be inserted. The inserted contact elements can be secured with a securing slide which can be inserted orthogonally to a plugging direction of the plug connector into a gap of the housing. The securing slide has a primary detent edge orthogonally to the plugging direction of the plug connector, extending along two long sides of the securing slide and a segmented detent edge extending below the primary edge for secondary securing.

Plug connector

An electrical plug-in connector includes an encompassing enclosure having side walls defining an interior and having guides in the interior. Modular multipole contact enclosures for insertion in the interior, each have one-piece contact chambers being disposed next to each other in a row and being connected with each other and having integrated locking devices. Contact elements are to be inserted and locked in the contact chambers for connecting and combining one of the contact enclosures with at least one other of the contact enclosures to form a subassembly for insertion in the encompassing enclosure.

Electrical plug-in connector

A plug connector housing assembly includes an outer housing and an inner housing to be nested together in a plug-in direction. The housings include sides having approximately parallel opposed side walls with inner and outer surfaces. The side walls of the outer housing define an insertion opening with a peripheral region. A locking mechanism in the form of a rack extends in the plug-in direction on one of the side walls. A lever is associated with another of the side walls. A shaft is perpendicular to the plug-in direction and associated with the lever. A gear wheel segment meshes with the rack, is firmly connected to the lever on the other of the side walls and is rotatably supported on the other of the side walls about the shaft. The rack and the gear wheel segment are disposed at least at one of the sides, between the inner wall surface of the outer housing and the opposite outer wall surface of the inner housing. The side wall carrying the rack in the peripheral region of the insertion opening, and the gear wheel segment, have complementary guide elements fitting into one another only at a predetermined angular position of the gear wheel segment in the plug-in direction, and preventing rotation of the gear wheel segment during engagement with the rack, until after attaining a predetermined insertion depth of the gear wheel segment.

Plug connector housing assembly

A contact spring has a bottom spring having a spring arm base with a bottom wall and two side walls, a terminal part for an electrical conductor projecting integrally from a first end of the spring arm base, and spring arms projecting from a second end of the spring arm base in an extension of the side walls. A detent device is provided for primary locking of the contact spring inside a housing. The terminal part has a bottom wall and two side walls extending away from the bottom wall. Each of the side walls of the terminal part has an end face which is embodied as an insulation piercing connecting device. The spring arm base and/or the terminal part define a stop edge extending orthogonally to an insertion direction of the contact spring.

An electrical plug-type connector has primary securing means formed by an interlock mechanism comprising a primary catch edge and a stationary contact wall of the housing that interact with the first catch tongue of the contact element. The opposite, second contact chamber wall is provided on a slide member that is movable at least transversely relative to the plug-in direction, but preferably also obliquely relative thereto and has a segmented catch edge having paths for the second catch tongue to pass therealong. By moving the slide, a primary and secondary secured interlock position of both catch tongues occur as a result of engagement behind the respective catch edges. This movement will also cause a forward feed of the contact element not correctly plugged in and primarily latched.

Electrical plug-type connector having an interlock mechanism

An electric plug connector includes first, second and third housing parts. One of the housing parts is a plug receptacle for receiving a contact element and forming a plug channel. Another of the housing parts is a plug for receiving a complementary contact element and having outer contours adapted to the plug channel. A further of the housing parts is an actuation element in the form of a longitudinally movably guided slide for moving the plug into and out of the plug receptacle. Three sets of teeth are each disposed on a respective one of the housing parts and have a predetermined gear ratio. Two of the sets of teeth are racks each being firmly connected to a respective one of the first and second housing parts. One of the sets of teeth is a gear wheel being rotatably supported on the third housing part for meshing with the two racks.
