An electrical connector device to connect an electric power cord to a hand-held electric appliance, the connector device having an outer case housing with an inner chamber and at least one spring contact extending thereinto; a main housing rotatively supported in the outer case chamber, the main housing having two separated sockets therein, a stepped cylindrical top portion, and a bottom wall with an opening therethrough; at least one conductor compressively positioned on the stepped cylindrical portion of the main housing, the conductor being electrically connected to the power cord and to the spring contact; and a cord bushing having oppositely extending arms and a body portion with a bore therethrough, the power cord extending through the body portion bore, the arms being pivotly mounted in the separated sockets and the body portion extending through the bottom opening of the main housing; wherein the electrical connector device provides the power cord with two free axes of movement.

A hairsetter designed to heat a plurality of hair rollers to a predetermined temperature is provided with a plurality of sockets each intended to receive a single hair roller having a pair of electrical plug members axially extending from one end of the roller. The plug members are tapered along substantially their entire length and are formed as extensions of parallel longitudinally extending heat sinks engaging the sides of a PTC resistance heating element within the hair roller. Each socket is provided with a pair of contact pins. The upper portion of each pin is accessible through the top of the socket and the lower portion thereof is in contact with an electric wire to conduct power to the pin. The contact pins are separated by diametrically opposed ribs which interact with the tapered plug members to cause the hair roller to be automatically rotated as it as inserted into the socket so as to cause the plug members to firmly engage the upper portion of the contact pins.

The present invention relates to a heated curling brush with bristles which are relatively tangle-free in use. The heated curling brush of the present invention is provided with bristles which are capable of transmitting heat to the hair while at the same time avoiding the undesirable tangling resulting from use of prior art brushes.

A vapor generating roller assembly includes a hollow perforated roller with a heatable inner surface surrounding a bore. A device which is removably insertable into the bore provides the liquid which is vaporized by the heated surface. The vapor is conveyed from the bore through the perforations into a tress of hair wound around the roller.
